Not to be outdone by RTD casting one of these freaks in Who , the official Star Trek accounts are boosting this things appeal for gibs to an ACLU Drag Defense Fund

I'd love to see the ACLU explain what they need a drag defense fund for. Are they saving some cash for the defense of troon pedos who get busted for diddling kids at drag story hours?

Lol at Spot saving Data. This episode was most definitely filler but some of the humor was pretty good. How many more episodes are left they need to get with it and resolve everything or else it'll be a wet fart of a finale.

I would say that would instantly redeem nu-Trek but they'd find a way to absolutely ruin Dukat somehow too.
Well, the Prophets also specifically stated that Dukat and the Pah Wraiths are locked away forever in the fire cave anyway and the only mean to let them out was the book that so... conveniently... also burned up. However, I still throw him in because nu-Trek writers don't give a fuck about established lore and they certainly want to memberry the shit out of DS-9 at some point with something other than the Changelings.

"hhhm... what other baddy did the recys chuds liked back in the day"
"gul dukat"

Ya I get that writers are mostly hacks but that would be one of the biggest retcons in the entire franchise. I could legit see even the most consoomer nu-nerd Trek fan being at least a little annoyed with that. But then again this is current year so fans will lick the boot of bad writing and like it. I still think it's something changeling related.

Sure is sad that that after 3 seasons of Picard, they only got things mostly right on season 3. Some of the scenes have writing thats almost as good as next generation. Granted not the best episodes of the next generation, but the new writers actually were trying to put out something good and have mostly succeeded.

It still suffers from current year isms, the federation being bad, m-kay, and Raffi still being part of the show. But there have been some genuinely good moments in some of these episodes and it actually made me want to watch more. I found myself actually enjoying Amanda Plummer as Frau Farbissina from Austin Powers as the villain. Even though the backstory is still "federation is bad, m-kay?".

I want to find the cunt that came with with that infinite diversity slogan and punch them right in the vagina

Quick, punch this man in the vagina

For all interested parties I meant this facetiously. I have no idea what Roddenberry would think of the trannies but I'm sure he'd be ok with them in theory, unless he lived to the 21st century.

This is the same thing I've been thinking about. I'm honestly glad that Roddenberry isn't alive to see what trannies have become in the modern age.

But most of us are actually fine with trannies. We don't just want them shoved in our faces 24/7. We don't want a package delivered with their flag on it. We don't want to pick up a beer can with their face on it. We don't want them grooming our kids. We don't want perverts forcing their way into children's spaces. We don't want female rape crisis centers forced to include biological malein their services or working as councilors. We don't want rape victims reprimanded for misgendering the biological male that rapped them. We don't want crimes committed by trans to be downplayed or dismissed on their identity.

I remember some years ago watching on the youtube some Canadian guy talk about the problem being with 100% acceptance. There are no limits. If it's 99% which is more than reasonable. There are limits. It's the idea there is no limits that causes the issues. With limits you can say, "yes I agree to all this except." They themselves can understand and agree. But the idea there are no limits is where the problem comes.

We know his feelings. He literally penned the episode where a literal woman was trapped in Kirk's body (and vice versa).

Anyway. Birthright part 1 happens to be on the TV right now and I got to watch this golden scene again.

And... damn I just miss these moments. It was always great to see Data trying to learn how to be human from the alien. But there's so much more than that...

Don't worry, I'm not going to faggot up the thread with endless TNG gushing. That's Mike's or Rich's job.

From the looks of it on IMDB Ronny Cox is still working at age 84!
Current writers/producers are mediocre and lack imagination. If you're gonna bring asshole Admirals, bring the best one.

Jellico had some moments of jerk, but hew as still a competent captain who did the job he was asked to do and excelled at it. We need a scene of him telling Admiral Fuckface to shut the fuck up.

Say what you want about how bad modern Star Trek is (and it's bad), but Star Trek fans at least got to see the TNG crew all together, sharing a happy moment, while the characters actually seemed like themselves. That's something that Disney Star Wars refused to do for the fans.
