The fact that they never specified what sort of genitalia a "non-gendered" race, (which *somehow* was completely able to have sex with a male human) would have, leads me to believe that they were probably all hermaphrodites... So, I mean, it was probably totally possible that Soren could have ended up wanting to ass-fuck Riker, and having a dick to actually do it. Gross.

It's a Patrick Stewart vanity project which he gets paid to do. $750,000 per episode.

He's trying to pitch yet another TNG movie. The finanical "success" of his last movie was pathetic. I thought he signed up for this garbage show because it wasn't going to be TNG again. Well, then, what the f*ck kinda movie does he want to do?

It'll be like Adam Sandler and his friends yukking it up in Hawaii I mean Risa.

Patrick Stewart must be surrounded by a bunch of yes men if he thinks anyone likes what he is doing to Picard. Let alone anyone wanting a bad robot TNG movie.

Besides SJWs and woke cultisists that is.

I am sure he thinks he is doing another Logan by deconstructing a character he plays, and showing him past his prime.

In reality he turned someone people looked up to in real life, someone that genuinely inspired people to become better people, and turned him into a joke just to virtue signal his politics.

I won't deny he is a phenomenal actor. But, at the end of the day, he is just that, an actor. He has no idea why people like Star Trek, or even what made Jean Luc Picard such a beloved character.

He should have stayed just reading lines from people that actually know what they are doing. Putting him in a pedestal as if he was the wise men he plays was a mistake.

I tried watching some bits and pieces of Strange New Worlds here and there and it feels like the director has ADHD. Non-stop jump cutting between bridge officers. You really notice it during the scenes between Pike and the Romulans. Pike will be on screen, then random jump cut to close up of bridge crew member for one second, then back to Pike, than the Romulan, than another random bridge crew face close up again, and then back to Pike for the entire scene. might be cos Im an old trek fag but its highly distracting.



edit: noticed every episode seems to have different Directors so no idea if its a consistent theme through out the series.

Holy shit, THIIIS. I love DS9 unapologetically, but I also love TOS and TNG and VOY and etc., and I just want to roll my eyes when I visit Reddit and see the 10,000th post saying OMG you guys I just finished watching DS9 and DAE DS9 is a million times better than the bestest show that ever existed? and it has 8000 upvotes and 1200 replies saying OMG I thought I was the only person who felt that way despite the fact that this same exact post gets posted every two days on this sub!. Just shut the fuck up about DS9 for once, Reddit.
