The comments under the season 3 trailer are mostly "finally the show we wanted" or "it only took three seasons to give us what we want."

Who are these people?
Either robots or mathematically challenged people who've been in comas for the last twenty years and think it's a trailer for the next season of Star Trek: Enterprise.

People who didn't pay any attention to the show's preliminary hype and thought that it would be TNG Season 8? Of which there were many, I'd add.

man, paramount+ must be bombing harder than anyone thought when they dig into the memberberry chest that hard.
they also forgot the beard on the villain, some people still gonna miss who it's supposed to be with just the hitler hair...

It looks like Paramount/CBS kind of forgot to put Shatner's Kirk on the key art of their Star Trek Day™.

Wow that's a nice way to say fuck you to the captain everybody loves and the one who pretty much made star trek become big thanks to his performance.

One thing I always found funny is how piss redditers and leftie star trek fans are when you mention Roxanne Dawson's political views because she's not a leftie and is a devout Christian.

It's just so funny said lefties get pissy at right leanings fans being ignored by actors being disrespectful towards fans who disagree with them on politics. And at the same time time those fans hate Roxanne views even through most of the other actors agree with them.
Same with Dwight Schultz

Is the writing crew the same for season 3 of picard? If its any different maybe I can pretend for a solid min that season 1-2 didn't happen. Before it shits the bed at the end anyway.

It's all Terry Matalas this season, I believe.

There's that one reviewer/writer named Robert Meyer Burnett who trashed all of Discovery and the first two seasons of Picard, somehow saw the script or saw the production and said, "It's actually good." That trailer, though, leaves me skeptical.

Like @Titan Lithos said, according to Robert Meyer Burnett, this final season seems to be a radical departure from the previous 2 shit-shows. They even got Doug Drexler back in the VFX department.
Wait and see I guess.

Terry did some of season 2 as well. He left halfway through to start on S3

I'm not watching this shit to find out, but I don't think that Lore is going to end up being a major villain of the season... I'm not going so far as to say that I think he'll be a hero, but I doubt he'll be aligned with that weirdo main villain.

OH geez, they're going to have Moriarty take over Lore's body for something aren't they?

Plus the theme of revenge. Wrath of Khan is singly handedly the best thing and the worst thing to happen to Trek. Because of it, every fucking movie has to be about revenge.

Did he do the opening episodes? I heard those started out strong.
Yes. They were tolerable, but quickly devolved to shit.

Moriarty's actor spoiled that he did all his shots in an afternoon, so he likely is just going to be in one episode. Then Spiner in typical Spiner fashion spoiled that he's more than likely B-4.

Around the 5:37 mark.

So an old, ugly actress is playing a villainous character who looks like an aged evil symbiote Tobey Maguire from Spider-Man 3, aka an old, ugly man?

My brain hurts

These guys seriously need to hire some kind of monster enforcer on the NDA shit like whoever Vince Gilligan uses.
