I find it interesing that the showrunner wanted to get in touch with Dave Cullen. It's rare to see these people reach to those who are critical of the product.

Wait, seriously? (Video was apparently removed before I could see it.)

Yep. Somebody linked Cullen's video on Twitter, the showrunner saw it and asked if there was a way to contact him since he is not on Twitter.
It looks like he has removed the video on his Odysee channel too.

Wait they contacted anti Wokeist and die hard racist conspiracy theorist David Cullen and asked for his input? Holy shit! (I’m being sarcastic, I like Cullen a lot).

Anyways, still find Picard and Discovery to be trash. I don’t care about lower decks.

I’m guessing the situation hasn’t improved?

Not even woketard are paying attention to STP if they're not asking for the guy's head for daring to speak with Cullen.
Yeah, even interacting with a racist conspiracy theorist ought to have had shitlibs screaming on Twitter-there is no way for example a Disney Sw writer would contact geeks and gamers or Doomcunt. The shows must have really next to no audience for them to engage with a “bad” critic.

The writers know the only people watching at this point are hate watchers and the few youtubers still reviewing this trash. If they can get more youtubers to review the show they'll get more hate watchers in their minds. In reality people will watch the review and not bother with the show. Look at Batwoman, I never watched the show but watched every HeelsVSBabyface review. Hell, if the show had gone on for another season or two his reviews would have had more views than the actual show.

If they want to revitalize the franchise and bring in more viewers maybe don't have a show where all the main characters are over 70. Unless they want to make a Muder She Wrote-style show about Picard solving mysteries in his French village.

What you mean 80 year old main character isn't a hit with the younger folks!!!

I've literally only been watching Piccard so I can follow along with them RLM reviews. That has to be a sizable portion of its audience.

This is what they should have done since the beginning. Take Picard out of his retirement to give him some Starfleet mission or to teach in the Academy in only ten episodes per season. All they had to do, it couldn't be so hard.

Ep. 1
Picard is invited to speak at the Academy and when he's there, he's asked for his opinion in some diplomatic matter and he realises how much he misses his former life. He helps them solve the minor issue and they also notice how Picard is still the same guy and ask him to give a few classes and lectures. He accepts. Add Barclay who is now a teacher there too because I like Barclay.

Ep. 2
JL now meets the second year class he's gonna teach and we see the personalities of the new characters who are meant to remind us of many former characters. Some respect him, some other think he's an old fart. Picard makes a test of character for all of them, which can only be solved if they all work together, learning the first lesson of Starfleet: work as a team together and respect each other.

Ep. 3
Picard takes them to their first flight. After some "omg, first time I see earth from above!!" scenes, the ship breaks. They need to return safely. Plot, plot, plot, they do.

Ep. 4
Picard needs to give a lecture for the graduating class about leadership. He asks Deanna to help him write something because he fears his speech will be dull and old fashioned. Introduce a major problem with, dunno, Romulans, that will be the motif for the rest of the season. Have a minor conflict with them, something something Neutral Zone, whatever. At the end, they solve it, and Picard ignores what he and Deanna wrote and used his experience for the speech.

Ep. 5
Info that Romulus is about to blow up (only their home planet, not the whole Empire, that was stupid and so ridiculous, for God's sake, wtf??) gets leaked and the high command now ask Picard for his opinion and admit that was the reason they wanted him back into work because they need an expert negotiator on the matter. Half the season and we already know things happened for a reason. The people who leaked the info were some members of starfleet not happy with how things are handled.

Final episode, Starfleet is ready to talk with the Romulans to offer help, truce, whatever... and what blows up isn't Romulus but some federation planet that was blown up by the Romulans by mistake. Turns out they all were tricked. They were developing a weapon and the info on Romulus exploding was just "what if" scenarios by their scientists that were leaked in purpose by their spies. Why? Because I'm tired of new writers copying the plot of STVI about blowing up planets to make peace of whatever. The students who just graduated and listened Picard talking about the great adventures they're gonna have all realise it's likely they could instead be sent to die in a war. Picard tells them that's also part of the life of a Starfleet officer and life.

DIdn't take me half an hour to come up with this.
