I feel pissed off at all the shatnerverse digs. That shit is better then canon. ( Mostly) I will be shocked if they can actually get shatner back.
If they give him enough dump trunks full of money but I imagine at this point in his life he's got enough money and he old enough to not care. Plus he's been to space.

Yup. The dude is 92 and planning his own funeral. Doubt he'd want this turd to be his swan-song, no matter how much cash they threw at him.

Maybe if it's a fun Cameo and doesn't kill him off. I gave it a once over and was seeing some people say it said he was still alive and that it was an intentional nod to the books.

If that's true then the enterprise A is a replica because it was blown up in the first shatner Novel. Did they say all the ships were originals?

Way I see it, you can get away with making the 1st 3 books canon pretty easily. The mirror mirror trilogy is a lot harder to get away with though, that contradicts a lot of mirror universe Canon, especially enterprise. Not sure about the last couple books, it's been a while.

Did I miss it or did the museum have the NX-01?
I didn't see it. Maybe the refit was there.

OMG it's the Enterprise A!, OMG Genesis device II, ZOMG Kirks body! Look at the Defiant and Voyager! DO YOU REMEMBER THAT! Look pop goes the weasel! ENCOUNTER AT FARPOINT!!!! Georgi La Fridge!, Deana! DATA!!!!11111 Do you remember all this stuff do you do you? LOOK! Bird of Prey from the movie about the whales! DO YOU REMEMBER? DO YOU?! TRIBBLES!
What a load of shit after last week.
and that's a good thing, unironically.
This is the first time since 2005 that we saw actual Star Trek ships. This is good fan service.

Frontier Day sounds fucking retarded in the show...yes gather all ships in one place and hope there's no attack on borders or something. It's just going to be an excuse in the show to show off some Enterprises and memberberries in a manner than makes the museum here look modest.

Oh the top secret thing stolen from Daystrom is Picard's body.
The whole thing came off like the writers were eating bowls of member berries while they were writing it. It was forced and tacky. I still don't get what they wanted with picards body. I thought maybe it was an attempt to get info maybe borg related out of whatever is left of his brain but why go through the hassle of stealing the body when they could just go after the man himself, hell they could even replace him with a changeling and nobody would be the wiser. Nothing else really makes sense for stealing it. They're changelings so they don't need to use the body as some kind of decoy - speaking of which since its clear now that everyone on that changelings ship is in fact a changeling.......why the fuck do they look like that and use that weird clicky language? Its bizarre

Ok now Wtf Daystrom not only had Kirk's body but also Picard's. That's just grim and weird, why are they collecting bodies for secret projects?
I could at least understand how they got picards body but to get kirks they had to literally go back and dig him up. Why the hell would they do that, let alone just to put it in storage? What could anybody possibly want with kirks body? Picards maybe given his history with the borg so who knows if something about it might be useful later or at least useful to study in ways they couldn't when he was alive but kirks just doesn't make sense

It would make sense to bring back Kirk's body to Earth, though. He deserves a proper resting place.

Having him in a Museum isn't necessarily a bad thing. Francisco Pizarro's tomb is inside the museum of a Cathedral. Makes sense that Kirk's in a museum too if there is no family to take care of his body and he's such a respected historical figure, if it's done with respect and totally not like the Futurama heads.

Maybe it was planned by their enemies?

Or in the case of Operation: Stardust from Gundam 0083, one massive target for a fleet killer weapon to either wipe out the fleet whether its partially or entirely.

Kirk isn't in a museum. His body is in a top secret weapons research place or something.

Geordi did say in the episode that he thought gathering all the fleet in one place was a terrible idea and had written to Starfleet three times to try to convince them otherwise. I can only assume that, since Starfleet Command is compromised, gathering the fleet is absolutely intentional and related to the Changelings’ plans.

Picard has mentioned that he’s supposed to be giving a big speech at Frontier Day twice, in two separate episodes. Riker is also supposed to be speaking, too. Are the Changelings making their own golem, perhaps? I kinda hope there’s a bomb inside it.

As for the Shrike, I didn’t assume that all the crew were Changelings, but mercenaries hired to man the ship that are hiding their true races and identities. I have nothing to back this up, though, only an assumption.

Overall, I’m enjoying this season much more than the previous two. I wish they would have started here rather than ending here. I liked the new characters well enough, but nothing beats the old crew.

It's pretty impressive to be 92 years old, and an inveterate shitposter, and literally go to space. He has basically told the entire world they can basically fucking blow him.
Also what if the Q became the Q the same rather unpleasant way Jon Osterman became Doctor Manhattan?
I don't think you can really do Q without John de Lancie.

I think Picard s3 is the most memberberries thing ever made. Its beyond parody how filled with references it is. By the end of the season, I'm pretty sure literally everything in all of Star Trek will have been referenced somehow.
Yeah, I almost feel like Terry Matalas really took to heart all of those fan complaints about the previous two seasons' total disregard for canon and consequently made a show that's so self-referential that its universe now seems tiny. All of these plot contortions to get the band back together are becoming a bit much.

I don't think Kirk was ever buried. I don't believe Picard would have hauled him up that mountain just to put a few rocks on top of him. It was probably a field expedient cenotaph. Kirk's real body was torn at by scavengers for a few hours, then a shuttlecraft from the -D would have beamed it right into stasis.

Well its taken six episodes, but its finally shit the bed. Too many member berries that don't make a lick of sense. Enterprise A blew up. They only made one genesis device, isn't daystrom a research institute, that did computers and engine design?

Fuck me, someone needed to slap Geordie. TNG was all about duty. He still wears the uniform and shirks his duty. He needs to protect his "family", even though his daughter is on the Titan, and the Enterprise crew were basically his family. Old Picard would have bitch slapped the cunt so hard he would have turned into a warp lizard.

I'm astounded by the response to this mid show (that's how the kids say it, right?). I get why someone like Nerdrotic or Critical Drinker would proclaim it the killer of wokeness or whatever because they've always been whores looking for the first opportunity to sell out, and I won't give Robert Meyer Burnett any heat because the dude was so in love with Trek he made a movie about it before getting kicked out of the industry by CBS, but I'm surprised by people like Dave Cullen. Dude was a hardened culture warrior determined to lose his channel and go down swinging about the SJW menace, and all it took was an early screener to get him to bend the knee and furiously promote one of the most woke shows ever made.

Patrick Stewart wants to make another movie, I hear. Does it not bother anyone else that Picard is long dead and is being mimicked by a robot? Is it just me?

Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker haven't said Picard S3 is the "killer of wokeness", only that it's better than the last two seasons and is actually enjoyable to watch. Is this the best season of Trek ever? Nope but I'll take memberberries that respect the lore over Q dying of space AIDS, lesbian Seven, and dyslexic Spock.

Enterprise A didn't blow up, that was the refit original. Theres no canon explanation for what happened to the ship after it was decommissioned. At least until now. But yeah there being a second genesis device doesn't really work. It was the result of two scientists, one of which was dead and he was the one who fucked with stuff he shouldn't have without the other ones knowledge just so it would work....which in the end it didn't, at least as far as its intended purpose. It doesn't really have a practical use as it was shown other than as a weapon. The only way it makes sense is if they originally made two of them but if that was the case khan would have found it like he did the other one. That said the only reason I can even see keeping it - assuming said second one even existed, is as some kind of weapon of last resort in case shit gets really bad and you need some kind of planet killer weapon. Though to be fair, they did make a point of mentioning that its where section 31 sticks its goodies so I wouldn't put it past them to keep something like that on standby in case it was ever needed

and not only is daystrom a research institute its literally been said to be located on earth multiple times and is implied to be more like a university than whatever high security storage this was shown to be

and yeah, geordie needed a smack upside the head. He's not an idiot and considering the circumstances and the literal stated goals of the changelings, such as they are, even staying out of it wouldn't do him or his family any favors at all. It makes no sense for him to act like that and its completely out of character to do so, family or no. Theres also the fact that how exactly does he have two kids old enough to be in starfleet given that its been explicitly stated to be 20 years since nemesis and he specifically said in interviews they were supposedly born after that. Some bad writing there. They'd have to be at least late 20s to be in the positions they're in

Quarterback Rex Grossman said:

I'm not surprised he wants to do another movie, and to be fair I get it. He wants to go out with a proper sendoff and you can't really blame him for that, who wouldn't after all. I'm not sure the rest of the cast would go for it though. Not all of them anyway. Though the whole bringing back data thing makes alot more sense if they're doing it to set up his appearance in said movie later on. It explains alot about why they made a specific point of doing it in such a way that explained his having aged out of the role. In fact it comes off as something the actor himself likely had a hand in. Also explains why they went in such a different direction and put all those different personalities in him, to give him something new to work with

That said, has anyone else thought its a really, really bad idea to combine all those personalities into one person like that? That sounds like DID or some bizarre kind of schizophrenia and is asking to end up with a very jekyll and hyde situation at the worst possible time, especially where lore is concerned. Hell he even has a history of trying to manipulate people by posing as data

and yeah, picard is dead, the person running around now is a copy, a ghost in the machine in the very literal sense. All this stuff with pointing out how many times they've seen data die now is only drawing attention to that fact. Hell the fact they're talking to what amounts to data as he was during nemesis before he died draws even more attention to that. From every practical standpoint they did to data exactly what they did to picard, just in a slightly different kind of body

As for cullen, I won't say I told everyone so, but I will point out that this is another prime example of why you should never trust culture war youtuber types. They're all manipulative idiots and none of them have been shown to be particularly bright or people its wise to take at face value. His own history shows this with the killroy bs. They all have certain personality traits in common
