So, a bunch of TNG characters showed up and OOH! look it's the Enterprise-D bridge and OOH look a Borg cube and OOH they're shooting and OOH funny quips are fun!

But, what was this really about? Let's see: it looks like it's really a backdoor pilot for Star Trek: Voyager 2.0 in what looks like if it happens could be not just the worst feminist sitcom in television history, but perhaps the worst show in history. At least Cop Rock had based Jellico.

They used memberberries to sneak in something nobody wants (and is actually the opposite of what they were hoping for w/ Capt. Shaw) which is a presumably non-woke continuation of vaguely 90's through 2016 #ItsHerTurn liberalism. I guess the pitch is that the "radicals" have softened the franchise up so much that if they just get a chance they can get the fans back on board and they'll be happy to embrace all modern orthodoxies once proper respect was shown to what came before. I think it's really brilliant that they started pitching a new show before people knew what they were shilling for.

So, Capt. Deadname of the USS Enterprise along with her first officer / mystery meat lesbian lover and fuckboi son-of-a-legend who she assigned as her "special advisor" (wink wink, ladies, tee hee) can smirk and girlboss their way across the galaxy and it's now canonically the current and future legacy of the USS Enterprise. Trusting "moderates" who go around saying they "aren't right wing / just tired of woke crap" was always a mistake. This is what "fixing" TNG was about. This is what all the memberberries and jangling-keys-at-retards was about. It was to dupe their predominantly male nerd audience to give power and support to 90's Liberalism+ as it fights it's fake and gay "civil war" with Woke Radicals. Three steps forward, two steps back means you'll still be gay for Jew dick.

Above is the face of "Picard S3 is Actually Really Good™". This is what they always wanted for you while they pretend the world is run and kept safe by Tuvok (wise person of color / magical negro) so they can play as Jack (emotional, manchild cuckold with a "wicked sense of humor" about it all). In case it wasn't clear enough, every corrupt, insane, capricious woman now gets her power handed to her by Barack Obama himself while a ghost of the white man she betrayed, disrespected, and psychologically tortured in order to "make space" for her materializes from the sweet slumber of death to finally validate her and render a respectful nod.

Can't wait to see all the cope from the Youtubers who went hard for this on the word of a few well-placed shills (Burnett, Popcast, Nerdrotic, Dave Cullen). Not only were they tricked into shilling for Picard S3, but they went HAM for that Star Trek Legacy pitch, which I'm assuming is what is being shown at the end. The assumption seemed to be that Capt. Shaw would/should be the lead and the actor was playing along during press interviews earlier in the season.

So, for all I've seen so far without actually watching the show (yet), it's what we call "start the race as a horse, finish it as a donkey". Personally, the plot seems fine to me. A bit over the top, but I'm open to let the "new" show surprise me if they can pull it out with certain consistence... for what I saw, it was acceptable. I agree with Rich Evans, we are never gonna get the "old" Star Trek we loved, so this is the most we can get and it wasn't really that bad. Low standards, I know.

And the donkey part is when they couldn't just hold themselves to make it a "FUCK YEAH WOMEN!" moment, because fuck men, women are here to do the job now!

These people love to self-sabotage themselves because they're idiots and perhaps are into humiliation fetishes. If anything, this season proves they know well what fans want, they just won't do it. They are more focused on pleasing the "new" fans who demand Star Trek (or any old media) to adjust to their demands despite they started being fans yesterday than please the fans who've been there since the 60s.

I still think -again, I'm just saying it based on the little I've seen of clips and spoilers- that the show is fine and I'd probably watch it with an open mind due to some small potential (unlike STD that was born fucked)... but they have no plans to keep what fans enjoy and fans were just tricked into consuming the trash they like at the end. Like being told you're gonna marry some cute woman, presenting a veiled lady at the ceremony, and then finding out that under the veil, there is the ugly sister you previously rejected instead.

More like this meme right here where a horse is first drawn with a pencil with faith and pride but finishes it as some child-like doodle.

LOL no, with Raffi as a main character? Fuck that
A show centered around Raffi would be a bit too cloak-and-daggar for the Star Trek universe, unless she spends her time undercover at an alien planet experiencing their culture. I'm tired of shows that make the Government corrupt and shady though, I get too much of that in the real life.

We're going to have another "lost era" of cinematic history where decades from now we refuse to acknowledge the existence of media that that were sequals or continuation of older media that we do enjoy.

All of those far-future science fiction shows that reference 90s-2010s media while never discussing theoretical media made after the show was filmed, there's now a logical explanation for that.

The whole fucking thing was an excuse to say 'HAHAHAA GOTCHA!!!!' right in the last few scenes. Any hope that there *may* be a return to decent Trek was crushed. Fuck them all, and fuck the Ent. D being a placeholder for the Millenium Falcon
And it's all thanks to Kurtzman, Orci and whoever was the slackjob chimp working at Paramount.

So Star Trek finally got Star Wars'd?

At least you got to see the old crew back together again, SW didn't even get that much.
It was Star Wars'd by between 2017 to 2020. Star Wars was already dead by 2012 after it was purchased by Disney.

The Enterprise literally did the Battle of Endor. Here it is at the Death Star reactor core just after Data completes the 'impossible' run through the interior. Oh and Troi can sense the feelings of robots now.

Edit: And I see that they are brining back Kirk to SNW to be another white man comic relief. None of the characters in that show behave like Starfleet...they behave like they are on an episode of Friends.

Episode Ten took the season from not very good (but passable) to utterly retarded. I'm not writing multiple paragraphs this week. Don't watch. Don't believe the yea-sayers. I'm forgetting this show already. I hope you do too. Dumb dumb dumb.

You left out the part where troi took the helm and managed to avoid crashing the ship. You'd think everybody would remember what happened the last time she took the helm of that ship

That said you'd think the plan the borg came up with would be smarter than to have such a blatantly obvious point of failure. and what the fuck is going on with everybodies implants and such magically disappearing just because the queen was killed (or in jacks case the facial ones being removed but somehow not the suit)

The entire episode was astoundingly bad and the end with the way everybody was acting at the poker game reminded me of the end of this commercial

None of the characters, except maybe La Fridge were playing their characters. Crusher was a badass weapons officer, Data was Bret Spiner finally getting to show how 'good' an actor he is, because fuck the character that made him famous, Worf was...stupid, Troi was eye rolling sassy woman, and Riker looked like he needed his nappy changed and a good tuck-in. Picard was Picard only when sat in the chair, the rest of the time he was confused old grandpa.
I'm pretty sure cuckman and his minions were playing the long game with this, and the 'gotcha' was episode 10 being a fucking abortion to 'troll' older fans or something.

Crusher was a badass weapons officer,
Well, she had her own ship for several years.

I thought Data was at the helm and she was trying to find Riker's location.
