Even if the Sisko does come back some day, his daughter is probably gonna be in her 80's having never met him and his wife and son dead.

Well, technically Sisko does have a criminal record. He did break a few time travel laws, considering every history book associates the Bell Riots with Gabriel Bell, who's actually Sisko from the future, and then the whole In The Pale Moonlight debacle.

Atleast his story is one and done and went full circle, wrapped a nice bow on it, no need for a "Sisko" TV show on Paramount+ where he comes back to a racist DS9.

He exists outside of time with a race that makes "orbs of time" for fun. He could have come back two seconds after the credits rolled. (Novels aren't canon.) He could have come back before he left and hid somewhere until his subjective past self left to prevent a timeline-altering self-encounter. You can't really have a tearful goodbye with a time traveler.

Actually his kid wasn't born yet. In the S8 pitch meeting they even have the reveal that Jake has a half brother now.

Maybe but it is something Sisko's bosses would've loved to not be informed of what Sisko did.
As there's always of ever present potential loose lips, and possible bugs hiding everywhere in Starfleet command and other important installations. What Sisko, Garak and those autistic Qusilings did is needed to be known by nobody else. As the risk of the Rommies, Dominion or anybody else finding out and tard raging is just too great.
 
I havent read it all yet, but ive enjoyed the recent star trek comic series where sisko comes back.

He comes back some time before Nemesis on a mission from the prophets to go stop a serial god killer with jake and it spirals out from there. Lot of crossovers, fun popcorn storyline, It aint shakesphere but I dig it.


Worf gets his own mini series from it too where he steals the defiant and lore's head.

I think they are still ongoing so I cant give my final thoughts. there was one moment where the Vulcan on board made a stink about the ship's pronouns or some bullshit but it's a brief moment.

Now one comic I know is a fun read is Too long a sacrifice

Excellent story. Very much feels like a lost episode at times. It's an odo detective story where he's trying to find a bomber on the station sometime around season 6. Great mystery and character interactions.

I didn't know they were married either, but this civil update inspired me to look up Jennifer Lien. I don't know why, I don't even like Voyager, but every few years I check up on her to see if she's straightened her life out and maybe even returned to acting in some way.

On 8/7/2023, she was arrested for her trademark offense, public intoxication. She had a hearing today; its outcome hasn't been published.

On 8/15/2022, she was arrested for theft (up to $1000), disorderly conduct, and public intoxication. It was dismissed with costs. She was required to pay $12.05 in restitution, which she did.

On 7/27/2022, she was arrested for theft of services (up to $1000). It was dismissed with costs. She was required to pay $26.25 in restitution, which she did.

The most recent mug shot I could find was from 2018, so I guess her appearance hasn't changed much since then. She might be one of those alcoholics who gets preserved and stops aging.

There's probably some untreated mental illness there, which is sad, but crazy doesn't mean you have to get drunk, steal shit, and show kids your titties. There's lots of complete schizos out there who manage to lead lives of quiet dignity, more or less.

We're all rooting for you, Kes! A Netflix series or VA gig is right around the corner!
