One thing I don't get about TNG is that Data had so many chances to murder Picard and escape. What happened?
Sexing with Tasha Yar definitely tamped down those homicidal tendencies. Data, having nearly perfect digital memory, was able to beat off to those memories for years after she got slimed, which is why he never got around to doing it in the later seasons.

Recently saw Elaan of Troyius and ship battles in that episode basically are doing Picard maneuvers as SOP. The big issue in that battle is that the Enterprise is too slow at impulse speed while the Klingon ship can move at warp and constantly outflank them. They eventually win when they use the jewelry to reactivate the engines and thus go to warp.

It's also surprising that it's a third season episode considering it's got a ship battle in it. When I think of third season episodes, they're like Spectre of the Gun or Day of the Dove, you know, episodes where they've got absolutely no budget and have to use whatever props and sets that aren't being used by everyone else. Can't do phaser effects, so everyone's got swords now.

iirc that's because Gene Rod sold off the effect footage through Lincoln Enterprises, the shady front company he ran through BJo Trimble, the "fan" who led the "fan" campaigns to keep TOS on the air

For maximum honor choose the SMASHED and SLAMMED targ. The choice for any true follower of Kahless.

That appeared to be what Kruge had

Those "fan" write in campaigns have been pretty thoroughly debunked in more recent times, but the hardcore are happy to ignore these things.

Edit: Roddenbery has been exposed as such a thoroughly sleazy, creepy guy, it does sometimes test my limits of separating the art from the artist.

Wait.... wut?

Disc went and tried to fix the temporal cold war?
Fix it? Nah, they just wanted to have some 'member berries. It's why they showed a bottle of Chateau Picard, Geordie's visor, and Sisko's baseball before he revealed who he was. He also had to praise Mikey Spock as the bestest captain in the history of captains.

Why the fuck does he have Geordie's visor? That's kinda fucked up when you think about it. And if he's Daniels why doesn't he have any memorabilia from the NX-01? Imagine if he had fucking Porthos stuffed and mounted on his desk.

That's so much worse and more annoying. I hope major grin has fun with it later.

And I can just imagine SFDEBRIS' reaction. He's mocked DISC plotlines regularly.
