Does make me wonder where the QC on ship design went. Old ship designs were based on cars, especially Voyager as it was based on a late 90s Lexus. Now, it's whatever they found in Ralph McQuarrie's sketchbook.

I can attest to Gaydar, I can look at someone and say "Yea he's gay" when i am hanging with my friend my gaydar goes off cause the way he acts he's gotta be gay, but he swears he's straight

This. Just because those designs were unused doesn't mean that they fit into the accepted aesthetic. Dave Filoni and Disney for example don't understand that.

If you're talking about the whole kick vic thing, I've seen no evidence it actually happened. His biggest mistake was trusting Rekeita and Ty Beard.

I'm 99% sure he even fessed up to some early on when he thought this was still interacting with humans.
Nothing underage or really anything that skeevy but yeah I'm pretty sure he really did touch a boob, he's just very "theater people"

This sounds like the cope of a gay man wanting straight men. We can see your stripes and spots. Know not to let our guard down around you.
 
Here's what I've long thought should be Sisko's fate: five minutes after the final credit, he's back. Prophets are still non-linear time and all that. Physically, he hasn't changed, but he's clearly far older than he was. It's in his eyes, his voice, he's gone through two or three lifetimes worth of experience in less time than it takes to brew a proper cup of raktajino. And he will not talk about it.

He immediately retires from Starfleet. Takes his family back to Earth and takes over his dad's restaurant. For the next 40-50 years, he gets visits from some admiral or politician hoping he can provide useful information about the current looming crisis. Every time, he gets this thousand-yard stare and tells them some variation on "No, there's nothing to worry about. It's been taken care of" with no further elaboration.

The admirals and politicians continue to visit, both because that's the best possible answer they could get, and because the food really is just that good. But as the decades go on, they all begin to worry about a question they can't ask.

What happens when he doesn't know?

Despite KickVic people spamming the ''ERM HE ADMITTED IT" line whenever confronted on the subject, he only actually admitted to touching one of his coworkers hair (which she seemed fine with at the time) and occasionally being flirty. That's it.

Weird and maybe overstepping? Sure.

But none of the actual skeevy or illegal shit people accused him of had any evidence whatsoever beyond people just saying so, to the point that KickVic-ers started photoshopping images (no, really) to try and accuse him and the ""victims"" in said images had to come out publicly and say he never did anything.

It's kind of like... accusing someone of shooting up a school and stealing a candy bar, then when they admit to stealing the candy bar in court you pretend that it somehow means the shooting accusation is also proven by proxy and every accusation was true. It's all very gay and retarded.

Honestly, if I ever wrote a Star Trek fanfic, it would start literal seconds after the credits roll. Kira and Jake turn away from the window on the station to go about their lives as best they can, and then boom, Sisko's back. Just as you described, a deeply changed man. And every bit of Star Trek media produced after Enterprise ended is thrown in the trash.

Hell, the last episode of Enterprise can be scrapped too while we're at it, proper Earth-Romulan War arc and Federation founding arc when?
