If TAS fit with the rest of the series, there'd be the life support belt thingies in TNG, a negative universe, and more less humanoid aliens in later series, as seen in TAS.

TAS is an OK show with good writing though. Overall anyway.

oh yeah

that "magic" episode
Lower Decks has all of the TAS alien races. I think as far as CBS is concerned it's all canon. Whether it fits together is another matter.

I didnt know what thread to sperg about this on. They unveiled the Lego star trek 1701-D set today and im genuinely almost angry enough to fedpost. Now granted the only lego set ive bought in like the last 20 years is the $20 james bond DB5 car but In what world is this a 400 dollar set??? You know how many 40k knights that is? No bridge section? Its so fucking small!
Even Playmobil can manage to include a bridge in their TOS 1701, is fuckhuge and it costs $100 less

I don't think the rather "cubist" typical Lego look works with the overall smoothness of the Enterprise-D.

Elite Force 1 definitely.

I found Elite Force fun, but short. Very short. At the time I bought it was like 50 bucks in real money and for like what...4 hour of gameplay? I felt ripped off.

With the AAA slop that spews out of developers today, Elite Force is a gem and well worth the 8 bucks GoG wants for it.

Elite Force 1 definitely.
Oh yeah I kinda forgot there was a second game. I vaguely remember playing some of it. I know it was a bit disappointing that you weren't part of Voyager's crew anymore.

Anyway as I was looking it up I realized that Bolean was called Chell, which means it's the same guy that Tuvok tormented in that one episode. I never realized that was him until now. (Woah, he was even voiced by the original actor... Also while looking that bit up I saw that TOM WILSON WAS IN THE GAME!)

If we're talking about TOS cast members musical accomplishments, I have to post this for anyone who might be unaware of this particular entry in the "William Shatner talks his way through the hits" series.

Every celebrity back then thought they could sing. “I’m not off-key, I’m acting the song.”

Richard Harris doing four tabs of acid and crying over a cake. Telly Savalas hosting some bargain-bin variety show, whisper-singing like he's trying to seduce a Buick. Leonard Nimoy doing Tolkien lore but through a “Sesame Street” filter. Shatner's one-man play about smoking weed in space.

The hull/nacelles look fine enough, but what the fuck did they do to the saucer?

LEGO has actual smooth rounded pieces, why does it look like a 2003 set where everything is still blocky?

Like this is a MOC fanset made by random people on the internet using pre-existing parts, it's not rocket science;

LEGO pricing has been balooning for years now, to the point even LEGO collectors have started to complain about how hard they're pricing out actual kids in favor of adult collectors who can blow hundreds on smaller and smaller sets. You wanna get really angry? Check out the recent 1000 dollar Star Wars Death Star set.

It's a vertical slice diorama, and yes, that's it. A bunch of smaller 20 dollar sets slapped together in a big circle.

One. Thousand. USD.
