Jesus fucking Christ.

What the fuck is Nu-Trek's obsession with destroying everything? The Vulcans and Romulans and their planets are gone. Kronos is gone and the Klingons almost wiped out. The Federation died for a long time. The Burn was the most utterly retarded plot device that needs to be retconned out of existence. Oh some kid felt scared and destroyed all the dilithium in existence and blew up every single space craft that used it. That would be an extinction level event for every society. We must destroy everything created in the past and make our own show that's better!

Now that I think about it, do the Klingons use holodecks?
Its mentioned in a off hand comment in the bar in deep space nine they do. Quark complains about how much damage they do to it.

I don't believe they use them frequently within the empire though. More a activity to do at a federation port.

The writers are so uncreative that destruction is all they can write. That and fag shit, lots of faggy characters.

It's all chasing Star Wars with no comprehension that Alderan only existed to be destroyed. We've got what is supposed to be a pretty optimistic Sci-Fi universe here and it's the space equivalent of a post-global nuclear war wasteland. They've literally destroyed the setting. They've destroyed the literal world building.

Like imagine how fucked we would be if suddenly tomorrow the only method of transportation possible was walking. No bikes, no cars, no planes, etc. The majority of the planet's population would be dead in weeks. The Burn would be like that on a galactic scale.

Morn XLVII is easily the best Star Trek character we've gotten in years.
Especially his upcoming arc with quark's daughter, who is still alive somehow.

Just rewatched Forbidden Planet and it's crazy that Roddenberry just remixed this movie with his breeding fetish to form 99% of the Cage
At least he had the good taste to use a great movie.

You get the strong sense the writers are just jingling keys. None of these deaths matter. The Federation basically shrugged off Vulcan. Picard’s involvement with the refugees could have been a natural continuation of the Reunification in TNG.

I’m not saying you gotta do, like, ten seasons of the Maquis, nobody’s asking for infinite Romulans. But they just don’t know how to write new problems for Starfleet. So they blow up a planet. And then forget about it.

The writers need refugees for their television morality plays, so they blow up planets to make them from Trek species.

I've been rewatching through DS9 and watched the terraformer episode. What even are refugees when you can terraform barren planets? The writing acts as if there's nowhere to put people.

Remember the Skrreea? They found a new world for them to colonize as a throwaway plot resolution at the end of the episode.

On the one hand, you could argue that the Klingons have less resources to develop new ships.

Plus Klingons don't scrapped older usable ships, as seen in DS9 when Gowron's fleet was attacking DS9. With one confirmed refitted D7 present in the battle and later destroyed. And that old Klingon ship Voyager had encountered.

Edit: episode is Way of the Warrior and at least three refitted* D7s were on screen at the same time.
*Refitted as in equipped with an disruptor cannon where the main torpedo launcher normally is.

The fact that Nu Trek has managed to desecrate every past captain and they’re even talking about dragging Bakula out of retirement (Bakula! People didn’t give a shit when his show was on!!) and yet audiences still don't care about Star Trek is pretty damning.
Have they desecrated Sisko? I thought Avery Brooks was an angry schizo hermit who didn't want anything to do with Hollywood now.

Spicy keychain poisoned dagger.
Okay, but a dermal regenerator wouldn't heal the poison. Not unless the dad tried sucking it out.
So what you're saying is it's real?
The Hirogen literally played WW II CoD playing on the holodeck. Worf called his He-man game calisthenics.

Shoot, forgot both of those. My bad.

Lmao, I've never watched any Trek series from start to finish and I thought I would start with Voyager.
Don't believe the haters. Voyager is the last of the TNG era Treks. Janeway is a great captain. I love the Voyager lore nod at the end of Picard S3.

I wish you a very enjoy. Voyager had some bad episodes, but it's some of the best of Trek too.
