Star Trek - Space: The Final Frontier

If I were a Founder, Vorta slobbering on my Changeling taint, I wouldn't trust that little smug shit for a second. Keevan got his whole squad stranded on a barren rock 'cause he's such a retard.

Weyoun tried to blast Odo into space debris because "well technically he doesn't identify with the Great Link anymore".:suffering:

The Female Changeling hated them so much. She'd pop in and kill the lot of them, "This batch is defective, NEXT." She only kept Weyoun 'cause the cloning machine was broken.

That's also why the Founders made them half-blind. Too devious to be trusted with good vision. "Now let these roided-out monsters protect you." "I can't see shit, sir!" "Good. Stay close to the supersoldier or you'll get your little faggot head blown off."

Don't worry, Obergruppenführer Sisko will gas the whole lot of them for you. If you let him...

Rewatching TNG for the first time in a very long time.
Season 4 is pretty much non-stop bangers. I feel bad for the people that start off at Season 1 and bounce right off of how awful it is.

I just called this old work buddy of mine. They started watching TNG for no fucking reason. This person is not a sci-fi fan at all, they're like a normie who watches Bridgerton or some shit.

So I'm like honey, the only episode that's halfway decent is the detective holodeck one. But they replied that they're going to watch the whole season, it's fun. Fun laughing at how retarded things get, I'll bet.

Just watched the DS9 episode The Ship. The ending is so dumb. They're all sad that the injured shapeshifter died and wished they had just worked together and the Vorta had the gall to lay a guilt trip on them that she hoped the captured ship was worth the lives. Bitch, you warped into the system and immediately blew up the runabout that was orbiting the planet. Sometimes the writers tried too hard to make the war seem to be shades of gray. The fact is that the Dominion was incredibly violent and bent on subjugation everything solid so it was super annoying that they kept trying to make us feel sorry for them at points. The Federation was incredibly naive at points.

I agree. Even the supposed genocide against the founders was entirely brought on themselves and the Federation had no choice. From the very start the Federation was like "hey can we be friends or at least coexist?" and the dominion responded by world trade centering one of their flagships. At every step of the way they were genocidally vicious against anyone that refused to submit to them. They infected an entire planet with a torture virus just for kicks. And at the end they attempted to exterminate the entire Cardassian populace to tackle an insurgency. Even when militarily defeated they pulled a Jap maneuver and decided to turtle up and make the price of breaking them so high their enemies wouldn't be able to pay it rather than come to terms. Finally - just like with the Japs - their enemies were like fuck this you crazy fuckers all have to go for the sake of humanoidkind. And once they were threatened with their own shoah then they suddenly become reasonable and amenable to peace.

S3 Picard is even worse in portraying them as victims because they were experimented on by S31 trying to figure out how to stop them from murdering the entire fucking galaxy.

Remember when the Vorta briefly had psychic powers on that one episode?

I've tried to get Mrs Sword to watch it with me before, but she's usually bored to tears. I could only get her to watch that "holodeck accident" episode from the first season because the villain from the episode is the same actor who played Elaine's dad from that one Seinfeld episode "Do I like ice?!".

Maybe I could try again but skip season 1.

Yeah you’re right, in their debut episode they have a telekinetic door opening power, if you go digging in the wiki it's just a shrug in paragraph form, the writers said maybe Eris had a special gene or maybe a little gadget or something, we forget.

I think it's for the best, Vorta don't get their hands dirty, they kill people like they're ordering off a menu.

Human slab of cured deli meat Lawrence Tierney is here playing Sidney Greenstreet. 🤗

They also brought him back for that DS9 episode where Quark goes to work for Lockheed Martin.

Absolutely unhinged casting choices. Maybe they ran into him in the commissary next to Charlie Brill.

I will forever love Lawrence Tierney for bullying Wheaton and calling him a fag on the set of TNG.

There’s a line in "Rocks and Shoals" where he’s talking to the Jem’Hadar man-to-man. Then the subject of Weyoun comes up and his face just does this.
Well it was Keevan. And nobody liked him.

I think Sisko just really hates Weyoun more than he hates the Vorta collectively, as frankly he has only met like two other Vorta and he didn't seem to have any real disgust towards them as he has towards Weyoun.

He understands that the Vorta are just as biologically programmed to be a subservient slave race as the Jem’Hadar to the founders, but Weyoun seems like he would still side with the founders and do all the scummy shit he did in DS9 regardless of if he was biologically programed or not. At least in Sisko's eyes, even though one Weyoun clone did go rogue and try to help the federation (or more accurately Odo).

Nah he met almost every named Vorta we ever encountered. There was the girl that pretended to be a prisoner while he and Quark were camping. Weyoun. The hot chick. Keevan. That's the ones we definitely saw on screen.

if ya'll get a chance to go to the wrath of khan showing with Shatner it's worth it. It's basically an hour and a half of Bill doing standup. Although most of the stories he told I've already heard.
