Started S6 of DS9, its great to see Nog as part of Sisko's crew, he really helps round out the group. I'm on E2 and it killed me when a Jem'Hadar lifted him 2 feet off the ground to stand him up.

Also watched up to the end of The Menagerie of TOS. Its been fun so far, lots of conical breasts. I want to marry young Janice Rand.

TOS had so many good looking women. I mean, TNG did too, but as far as sensuous and sexy goes I think TOS has all the other series beat.

Agreed! I adore the 60's in terms of fashion and design. The makeup trends back then focused a lot on the eyes:

Holy shit. I'm a lady myself, but goddamn she looks gorgeous.

Also a shoutout to my favorite female character from TOS. I loved her design, but her backstory was genius: she's blind but she has a dress that can sense shit for her? Nice. They were probably trying to rope in female viewers, too, so that was a smart writing move.

Didn't they intentionally use a blur filter on the ladies? You know, to hide a lot?

Idk, you tell me. I still think they look fantastic, though.

Well.... I personally don't think it necessary or even that attractive when women 'hide' behind tons of makeup and all that fake stuff.
And I think all these ladies (like you say) in the series were pretty good looking on their own, to need the 'help' or any aids at all.

I'd have much rather seen them as they were, same as everyone else. That's the look I like most.

So..... not the best thing?

So did anything special happen for Star Trek Day, or was it just depressing and sad for fans overall?

The big selling point for the new content is a faction war between Klingons and Klingorcs and the ability to unlock Mikey Hambone's Magical Iron Man Costume.

As someone who isn't a Boomer, words can't describe how disappointing it was to see how beautiful and great Diana Muldar was on TOS after seeing the unattractive borderline harpy low-rent Dr. McCoy she played on TNG. (Although the Klingon Tea Ceremony was actually pretty cool.)

And Roddenberry raped the shit out of most of them.
Can't rape the willing.

Oh shit, I didn't even notice that was Pulaski. That's all I even knew her as, which is a shame. I agree with most of what you say.

YEAH!! I watched TNG before I saw TOS, so when I saw her in "Is There in Truth" I was shouting at the screen. Why did they give her a Harpo Marx haircut?? I also didn't mind her being knock-off McCoy, made a damn change from everyone except Worf being so calm and collected and positive. Hell I don't even mind that she disliked Data, made the show that much more interesting! But why did they make her character look so horrific...?

Yea, some stupid bullshit that didn't make sense.

the problem is the prime timeline already is used in STO, so you can't really do that much anymore. and ofc the usual pr-spin "if you don't like nutrek it's nothing like that shit" which implies prime timeline - except nope! enjoy your STD!

Oh, I didn't hear that was a thing, i thought maybe Discovery took place in Mirrorverse.

it basically does, or at least made it overly canon when that shit never made sense in the first place and was just a vehicle to have some fun every once in a while.
except that only works in small doses; as much as people like cake, they usually don't every fucking time.
