Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

Sorry to bring up more Nexus drama but in a bid to prove how not mad he is, Robin, aka Dark0ne, is sending his jannies to patrol the Steam forums and defend him as well as squash the rumors that Elianora traded sexual favors with him in order to get a job in the game industry. He is having his jannies tell people that Robin is a loyally married man and that Elianora doesn't really like men but she is so super talented at everything she does (Holy shit! LMAO! Love that they still need to sing her praises when this is happening). For one, a man who is a multi-millionaire in the tech industry being loyal to his wife? Good one. Two; there is no "not really into men". Either you are into men or you are not. There is no in-between.

An innocent man doesn't send his personal army to defend his honor and squash rumors of corruption on his site. This is something that a very guilty man does which leads me to believe that all the rumors about him and Elianora are true.

1. People are saying the graphics is bad because the retarded shader issue from FO3 is fucking back for some reason. The exact solution also works btw, just delete the shader cache.

2. The SAME ass-dragon bug is also back btw, I've had my ship fly by belting exhaust from it's "face" again.

3. They need to fire Emil.

4. Why the fuck is there no unequip fucking hotkey. I've had to resort to casting spells to take down monsters and our mana bar is so fucking shit.

5. They really should've just added more ship combat and improved ships in general so Class C ships are the size of battle cruises like mobile star stations with it's own landing bays to eject Class A ships for massive space combat, Class B is the middleman that you can actually land in cities/landing sites, and Class As are the dinky-ass ones your crew can pilot on their own to help in dogfights/board ships. Also drone launchers.

6. I think I'm done finally un-uglying my ship, actually one sec I need something for a size comparison since it's literally at the limit for almost everything - it's almost a quarter the size of Takila City apparently:

7. Where the fuck is the obligatory dog. I know the dog they modelled dogmeat after is dead, but come the fuck on.

8. While building bigass ships makes your mobility low it's still the same top speed. Also, engines have better version with levels all the way to likee 70+ so far. Also for anyone wondering the shielded cargo shit is from the crime sidequest. Actual crime, not corpo crime.

I had this thought as well as I play FO4. Dogmeat in that game was modeled and animated excellently. They could have easily put in some dogs with spacesuits like Laika. Its confirmed by a throwaway line that humanity brought its flora and fauna with it into space after Earth died. What about mankinds best friend? I would take a robot dog (Maybe something like Rex from NV? Give him a real brain but a robot body) so they could explain away the need for a spacesuit on a companion.

The chinamen ate everything besides the bullies the blacks brought but that only lasted a generation or two before the bullies became those little niggerfrog dogs that can't even walk.

From what I've seen from gameplay videos, they took the wrong lessons from KOTOR 2 and plastered that situational dialogue into literally everything in the most autistic way possible.

Instead of a conversation at home/the ebon hawk with a small handful of friends you've survived the war with, everywhere you go, complete strangers on the street are approaching you for a heart to heart or to discuss life lessons. That's the impression I got from the ridiculously autistic and creepy NPC dialogue.
There's no good lesson to take from KOTOR as a whole, unless the lesson you're taking is "how to release a bug filled mess that pretends its better than the source"

So surprising nobody, someone made a no pronouns mod.

And of course it was banned.

You can find it at based mods. They also uploaded the pure white human Stellaris mod there, because the recent DLC introduced WE WUZ ELVAS in space.
Not only that but Robin is sending his jannies to both the Steam forums and other forums that are talking negatively about him, Nexus and the rumors that he and Elianora traded sexual favors in exchange for getting her a job in the industry. We really need to have a Nexus thread in order to keep up with Robin and his never ending seething. The bullshit that he has done is a utter clusterfuck that is going to destroy his business and site and must be documented for all to see.

The European Phenotype/Names Stellaris mod goes all the way back to the game's launch, getting released in the same month, with the mod getting struck down by Paradox off the workshop. The shitty-looking space elves are a new addition by Paradox to an old DLC to justify raising the price.

I would rather based mods simply be named banned mods so its more of a universal platform for this shit rather than just a compilation of TOTAL NIGGER REMOVER 9000 but its a small gripe.

As for starfield I have finished my first playthrough as a freestar ranger.
It was pretty good until Big bad evil man told me what went down and why and it was the most contrived shit I could imagine.
Apparently you can use nonlethal weaponry, I took no prisoners myself. I played almost exclusively with the old earth shottie and revolvers for the real space cowboy experience.

All in all it was pretty good and possibly the least buggy Bethesda experience I have had although I feel points of the major plot were just ripped from IXION.
I'm using a bottom barrel Ryzen 5 and a 1070ti and everything runs perfect at high with medium shadows with no artifacting from FSR2 that i've seen at all
it definitely does not look like all these clay-model minimum settings images redditors are complaining they get 10fps on with their latest novidya card and top end intel cpus.
Overall a large improvement from previous titles although the dialogue most times amounts to [proceed conversation] [proceed conversation phrased differently] [KILL] [Questions] in most cases.
I did not feel a need to touch colonization at all in my first playthrough and most of my run was spent researching most of the weapons upgrades and unlocking tech for NG+

Spoilers:
NG+ apparently changes many things along the major questlines including who gives you quests, what your objective is and even major things like little coe being all grown up in this timeline or all of constellation sans vasco being dead when you arrive at the lodge for the first time or even being able to locate a clone of yourself in every major faction each with their own unique dialogue.
Also you can find a large mountainous arid planet where Halo:Reach would be (eridanus II) but sadly its probably coincidental and not a reference.
Bonus points:
This has clearly scared the shit out of Chris Roberts and Associates because suddenly for the first time in years star citizen is suddenly getting rapid QoL updates announced almost overnight from the release of the game. Thanks Todd Howard.

tl;dr for a literal minute one crack from RUNE 6 days before release the game ran almost entirely bug free for me but I did have around 15 different crashes throughout my campaign.

You have a thread in prospering grounds on him, why not try to add some more into it and get others on the ball to see if it gets traction now that he's openly being a petulant little girldick loving cuck again?

I'll see about getting the ball rolling on that again. Will take me a few days to gather all the outburst and seethe post from Robin and his jannies.

So here's a dumb thing that happened to me plus some random thoughts.
The way traveling to a system instantly drops you into scanning range of enemies is retarded. In fact everything about space travel is retarded as it's all just a fast travel menu but that's old news. I had some contraband and just wanted to jump to the next system to do an exploration quest for Constellation but I had to stop along the way and ended right in Neon orbit. So of course they found my contraband and I decided to just gravjump anyway and got a bounty with the FC.
I do my quest and go back to New Atlantis. I walk past the FC Embassy as I'm trying to find the Vanguard building which I couldn't find no matter how hard I looked because there's no fucking local map.(in hindsight I probably had an activity to talk to someone there) I figure I'll just pay off the bounty there while I'm at it and the guard just starts firing on me. The game treats this like I'm the aggressor and Sarah Morgan hated that. True Bethesda """"charm""""
Imagine an embassy guard just opening fire on someone outside of embassy grounds because of a 1500 dollar fine lmao

Every time I chose a random landing spot on a barren planet I landed right next to some kind of building. I thought the whole point of the 1000 planets was that lonely feeling in space? Yet every barren rock I go to is lived in.
And none of the dungeons I found this way were interesting either. I never found any interesting stories or even environmental storytelling. They were just empty buildings with pirates. And that's the "handcrafted" content of this game.
The crafting is horrible. The game truly wants you to hoard everything, there's so many materials and random shit you need to craft stuff with no easy way to see where you actually get those items from like for example adhesive, it's the same clunky UI as Fallout 4's crafting. And yet your weight limit is probably more prohibitive than ever before. Not just that but cargo on your ship is also limited. So Bethesda want you to pick up all this garbage and then punishes you for it. Not to mention that companions will constantly berate you for doing so.
I never found any space battles except for one instantly hostile freestar ship that then counted as murder when I fired back. This was in New Atlantis orbit by the way. I got around this by loading the autosave and just fast traveling to the lodge. Great game design.
The character creation is horrible and the hair options are extremely limited. You have all those employees and you can't have one just churn out hair styles for a week? I think it might actually be more limited than Fallout 4's sculpting tool.
At least the ship builder seemed pretty cool. I never got to use my new ship though.

Between the jank, terrible performance and just how boring it it I decided to stop after 7 hours. It really is just Fallout 4 in space in almost every way and I have no idea where all of that development time went. Supposedly this is Todd's dream game he wanted to make before retiring which is just a depressing thought. For his sake I hope they get their shit together for TESVI

Yeah I tried to like this but everytime I just think "elite dangerous is better" or "fallout 4 is better."

Like holy shit the "faction questlines" everyone was jacking off here is just like 4 20 bear asses quests, 2 unique quests, and one "oh hey it's actually the faction" quest. Everyone single fucking one. I didn't think they could make cyberpunk corpo sabotage boring or space cowboy pastiche boring, but holy shit they did. This shit is boring as hell and formulaic. No wonder they thought ai generation for 90% of their game would be a good idea, the 10% they did make by hand is shit.
