Careercow Stefan Molyneux and the free domain Radio podcast - NOT AN ARGUMENT

Are you saying that doing coke and molesting a boy at a whorehouse is a form of free speech? You seem to have completely lost the plot. We're talking about political speech, not being a depraved weirdo in private, regardless of if you get caught or not. A senior KGB officer would still suffer consequences if he publicly criticized communism or the actions of the current regime.

Thats just an extreme example of elite being able to do more than regular people. Just like Rowling can till she, likely, will be pushed out of the elite circles.

You're so close to getting it. I agree. Now here's what you don't understand: capitalism makes governments a lot less effective at stamping out free speech. That's the point I've been making this whole time. That's why we're talking about capitalism, not the First Amendment.

People say Singapore is "good capitalism" in the sense that it makes people a lot of money and raises the standard of living. Yeah that's good, but it's an entirely different discussion based on an entirely different aspect of capitalism.

What makes Singapore capitalism different to, for example, UK's that causes this difference in protection of dissident voices?

Still doesn't matter. Whether rich people or VIP's can get away with private coke orgies better than poor people is still completely irrelevant to a discussion about free speech. I know the term gets abused a lot, but this is actual derailing.

So is this. Why do I need to prove something about the difference between the UK and Singapore, two nations with relatively free markets, when my whole point is that nations with free markets have more free speech vs nations without free markets? What would comparing the UK and Singapore prove about my point? Nothing. It's a diversionary tactic.

If we compared freedom of speech in Singapore vs North Korea or Cuba, or even China since China's market is subject to a lot more control than Singapore's, that would actually be relevant. Which country do you think news outlets and people in general are more free to criticize the government and politicians in, Singapore or China?

How about Singapore vs North Korea? Gee, I have a funny feeling Singapore will come out on top of those comparisons.

I've gotta be honest, your tactics are starting to glow a little, nigga.

AUGH YEAH I've been wanting this thread for a long time.

Inside every "Libertarian" like him is an elitist waiting to express himself. Like many hard-right "free speech advocates", he only supports freedom of speech to agree with him.

"Bitchute: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the USS Fart Huff. Its continuing mission: to explore strange new internet movements to co-opt. To save the West by posting incoherent screeds about eggs and getting Trump to tweet about GamerGate. To boldly go where no man (yes, I said man) has gone before!"

I wholeheartedly endorse this crossover. If Freedomain Radio is the next door the reaper's knocking on, then I say:

"Make it so!"

Now that this guy has been shoved into a sad little internet hole over being banned everywhere, has he gotten even more deranged and angry or has he starting to be more of a normal human being? I half expect him to still be exerting the same behaviour looking down his nose at the same people who bring him to attention or to at least be manipulating them into anger so he can get there again.

I haven’t heard anything and his videos look like the same old boring formula. Does he still hate women because of his shitty relationship with his mom and wife?

I don't think this was posted here, but this is from 2019 so I assume it's a much more developed version of Molyneux begging for money and support right here:

Nope, they're definitely linked. A prime example that happened recently is JK Rowling vs the troonerati. All these institutions and stooges were REEE'ing at her and she didn't back down. Then her publisher said "Fuck you, we're not firing her, she stacks paper" to everyone who tried to pressure them. That was only possible because we have a somewhat free market. Hence we have somewhat free speech. Yeah it's been eroded to hell, but the system doesn't get its way 100% of the time. When people refer to someone being an absolute madman because they have "fuck you money" that's something that's only possible in a free market.

Now imagine the same situation in a captive economy. The government or the megacorporation that runs everything says "Trans women are women." JK says "They're actually not tho." She goes to a gulag for reeducation or the megacorp fires her from working anywhere, bans her from the internet, closes her bank account and seizes all of her assets. No one has "fuck you money." Everyone can be destroyed in an instant. There are no companies that can go rogue and say they're hiring this person despite being problematic.

This is a major reason why socialism and communism are a shit. Not just because they don't work economically, but because once you centralize the economy with any single source and destroy the concept of private property, whoever holds the keys to all the property and goods can crush any opposing voice.

TL;DR: the free market doesn't guarantee free speech, but no free market sure as fuck guarantees no free speech.
Rowling is a poor example. What about the free speech of people who don’t have so much fuck you money that TPTB have to tolerate them and cancellation holds no material consequence, or express sentiments spicier than Rowling’s nothingburger of “I’m a progressive feminist who thinks trans women are great, but...”? AKA you, me, and the forum we’re posting on.

Assuming he hasn't wasted all his bitcoin donations since 2013 he's received a total of 1,250.59966195 BTC ($73,378,935.16) to date (donation page to confirm address). Even when it was valued way less back in 2016 he had over 500 BTC which became worth millions the year after yet was e-begging a few years later.

I don't think loss of revenue is the reason Molyneux would be bitter "not bitter, genuinely not bitter" about being deplatformed, I think what irks him most is the loss of attention now that his audience is a fraction of the size it once was. For an egomaniac with a messiah complex, like Molyneux, having an audience that worships you is everything. Money is probably secondary, and in the likely worst case scenario, he can always just mooch off his wife anyway.

Yeah, when it comes to feeding his ego, he was moving from success to success despite his failures. When his cult leader phase with his "defoo your family and give me your money" thing fizzled out he managed to build up his Youtube account so he had more followers than ever, but that all when away with no ready substitute this time.
