Stellar Blade / Project Eve Thread - aka Stellar Ass

I hope everyone who is mad about this starts to reconsider preordering games before having any confidence in the developer, especally bc this shit is now 70 bucks
not to sound like a boomer btw, but what is the deal with people needed to buy the new shiny shit when they probably have a massive backlog, but I'm one of those people who says PS5/SexBox has no games.
If you pre-order games your a litteral retard.

Speaking again on the actual game. I will say it has some weird pacing where most of the areas could have been split into two so you wouldn't have absolute ridiculous number of quests fall on you after every dungeon. Especially the fishing minigame that is dropped on you before the point of no return.
The length itself of the game is fine though, I'm sick of games bloating themselves with shit to get to the 30-40.

Some say that the initial controversy was manufactured to drum up sales.

Word is that it's possible to play NG+ on 1.0 disc with uncensored outfits:
  1. Connect PS5 online and update Stellar Blade
  2. Start NG+
  3. Disconnect PS5 from online
  4. Delete Stellar Blade installation (but NOT the save file)
  5. Install Stellar Blade 1.0 from disc
  6. Resume NG+
Apparently the NG+ outfits are on the disc and save data remains compatible to previous versions, the Day 1 patch seemingly just making NG+ accessible from the main menu. I'd be cautious, however, about running into bugs and corrupting your save file when playing NG+ in this unintended way on 1.0, so you may want to create a backup of your save file just in case.

With that, there's been evidence of further outfits having been censored:

First, it has been recognized that the bikini "Blue Monsoon" is censored between 1.0 and Day 1, just in a manner that's been passing people's recognition at a glance. As it turns out, the outfit is widened very slightly to cover more of the cleavage and ass, or perhaps because concaving fabric is too lewd.

Second, the NG+ variant of "Cybernetic Bondage", called "Autonetic Bondage", censors the cleavage in similar fashion to the base outfit between 1.0 and Day 1, which is no surprise. Something new to me, though, is that variants actually can have model differences rather than just being recolors, given the open navel on this one.

Third, it appears that the lingerie "Black Pearl", the final reward for acquiring hidden collectibles, has a more revealing version according to an image asset. The screenshot clearly comes from where you get the hidden collectible rewards, but we have yet to see whether this outfit still exists as one that can be equipped, or if evidence of it only remains in a separate asset in similar fashion to the bare-legged version of the Chinese dress "Moutan Peony". I suspect that this was originally intended to be the NG+ variant of "Black Pearl" as a spicier reward for getting all the hidden collectibles a second time, but I'll have to see for myself to confirm once I beat the game.

I found much of this new information from this Twitter user:

That's not the argument. What I'm saying is, let's say Stellar Blade had actual child pornography in it and Shift Up was insisting they did this for "artistic reasons."
Anyone with a modicum of sanity would want that stuff removed from the game. That would be still be censorship. But nobody (in their right mind) would have a problem with it.
See what I'm saying here? Censorship is not always a bad thing.
I think the problem is this: let’s take the people who said eve looks like a 14 year old for example, people could censor her just based on that. Now I am not a libertarian by any means, if lolicon could be banned without it affecting anything else I would want it banned. But it never stops at just that.

Eve clearly is a fully developed woman those guys are blind/dumb.

But it never stops at just that.
And it shouldn't. People need not only to set a limit but to develop a governing principle as to why that limit was set. The way the people arguing against censorship is far too generalized which is what I'm getting at. Frankly, everyone--Sony, Shift Up, and the coomers--should all just die.

Says people speak to generally, then says everyone should die.

Got a real galaxy brain here.

I don’t really disagree, but my point is that while it’s good to censor loli or other drawn cp, a ban could be extremely vague. As I said, eve from stellar blade. You saw retards saying she looks like a child, which she doesn’t, but some people thought she looked like one. Could something be classified as loli if people simply think that character is a child? Because then while you could ban all the disgusting shit, it would also extend to other things that aren’t loli as well. Or let’s say they make a law that if a character is stated to be under 18, that character can’t be sexualized. Well, what if the creators just make that character a 3000 year old dragon, or something like that. There’s a loophole. So yeah I think everyone should be against this shit because it’s obvious moral decay, and I think people who jerk it to loli should be ostracized from society, but when you let the governmental powers ban something, it never goes well.

I skimmed parts of the video. Skip to the last chapter. He says Anita Sarkeesian was a conservative. :story:

No, let's not. Because it doesn't.

That won't change the rot present within society. Those are powerless pictures; the problem is the people who think it's acceptable, which is a social problem. And even if you manage to lobby for a law against it, it's just another bandage over a deeper problem and it will eventually get overturned.
Homosexuality used to be illegal now faggots are swinging their dicks in public in front of little children.

You need to get to the root of the problem and fix that.
The ones twisting the minds of the people are the problem, and the ideology that allowed such people into positions of responsibility in the first place.

Lynching needs to have a big comeback.
