Nier Automata without the insanity of Taro and presentation would be an incredibly mid game. It may be the best playing of his games by far, but all of his games lived and died by his atmosphere and writing. That Stellar Blade ended up being an average game that is alright but can't really stand toe to toe with any of it's inspirations doesn't surprise me in it's slightest. It's still a damn good first attempt for a company that has only done gatcha shit from the looks of it though.
Too bad they had to be faggots, lie and shackle themselves up with Sony.
Nier Automata's gameplay was shallow but I found it very satisfying.
I'm very curious about how Stellar Blade's combat feels. It looks less shallow that Automata, but whether it works comes down to game feel. But I don't own a sonybox, so no demo for me. I do find it odd that the comparisons aren't to Automata but to Dark Souls...
What kind of logic is this?
"They reacted to us! That means we were right all along!"
It depends on who initiated and what the reaction is. But a reaction can be proof of a lot of things. The people who shout "WHY DOES IT MATTER TO YOU!" do not demonstrate the irrelevance of something but rather its importance to themselves. Only people who go "lol, lmao even, sure, change it, whatever, I don't care" are actually acting like it's a trivial thing.
Grummz's logic here is valid if you accept his premises: people work very hard to loudly insist that it's trivial and therefore no change should be made because it's unimportant. These two facts contradict each other. You cannot simultaneously strongly advocate against something while arguing that it doesn't matter.
"But it's not true! They aren't working hard!" Sure maybe, but you didn't disagree with his premises, you disagreed with his logic.
I hope the game succeeds or gets success after being ported to PC.
I won't say it's GOTY but it was well worth the price.
It seems decent. Not amazing: if it's not your thing it won't change your mind. But if it is your thing you'll be happy with it.
They're literally seeking a hitman to KILL mark
It was one dude. Not a good thing, but this is a case where "they" is doing too much heavy lifting to group him with others.
