This kind of reminds me of when they changed Sonic's look in the first movie after negative reactions to a trailer, and people like this were also mad about it (and are still mad about it if you bring it up). The big disconnect here is that for Paul Tassi, he's mad that he and his friends in one specific instance, lost one battle of the culture war. He even claims he doesn't really care about the outfits just that it might embolden the CHUDs (same thing they claimed they were mad about when the Sonic movie adjusted Sonic's model).
I've followed Tassi's output for long enough to know he really is mad about the outfits, go read his commentary on stuff like Dead or Alive and Metal Gear Solid V some time: https://archive.ph/tgGWk

I can't really be excited about this or call it a victory. They still blatantly lied about the game shipping uncensored and showed they have zero respect for their customers. This is just damage control and feels like too little too late to me. I'm so tired of the gaming industry, man.
Not wrong honestly. I played through it twice, the combat feels good but there's not much to it. Couldn't have cared less about the story, hated that you can't skip most cutscenes, makes NG+ unbearable at times. The bosses only get fun near the end too, for the entire first half of the game you're just fighting the same green alien thing again and again. Boring.

Hollow knight doesn't also brings anything new to the table, it's a mish-mash of features and ideas from past ganes, its quality comes from how well the whole thing has been executed, sheer size and small price.
Now, here comes the real question: will it take more fo SONYchu to release a pc port for stellar blade or for the gooners to find a way to mod the game on the PS5 in order to give Eve a massive dick?

I'm always baffled that Forbes continues to employ tassi when they also have Erik Kain. Kain's articles actually involve logic and having the balls to point out, "Hey, this show still sucks, and it's fucking stupid". Much to the chagrin of easily angered idiots like Walking Dead fans.

Nobody's going crazy over this game, as it is indeed pretty mid and there's not much to say about it. What they're going crazy over is that they have new fodder for the never ending culture war and there's more to endlessly argue about on twitter and "own the gamers" or "own the journos". See above. It's so fucking tiresome.

The win is being able to play as an attractive female character, because it has been so fucking long and that used to be the norm. Booth babes were the norm. No one was a coomer or cared that much that they were there, because it was the norm. Jessica Negri doing lollipop chainsaw cosplay got panites in a twist and we've moved away from attractive character design, and with it, the reduction in quality and quantity of games.
So yeah, big tits and nice arse on display shouldn't be a big deal, because it should be the norm. But it isn't the norm, so it should be a big deal that it's a big deal, because it highlights how far the industry has fallen. Returning back to normality should be a win, always.
