Welcome back! Absolutely nothing about her has changed. Other than her new annual LARP, which is Loki as you have seen, so place your bets on when she will get bored of this and switch to a new fictional character/creature to "channel". My guess is August.

As well, she got fatter and has gotten several of her teeth pulled, possibly on her way to all of them.

I think one of the most annoying things about Stapphy is her complete inability to comprehend scale.

There's a huuuuuuuuuge jump required from 'you should talk to someone about your abandonment issues' to 'you try to create zombie sex slaves and cannibalize people due to abandonment issues'. You can't treat both ends of that scale the same. They're not the same.

She's so desperate for people to excuse her own gross behavior that she feels like it's imperative that they also excuse the super nuclear turbo version of same, because she can't recognize the two levels aren't remotely similar in anyone else's mind.

There are a shit ton of people who grew up with abusive and neglectful parents, who got molested as children and/or teens, who didn't have stable and healthy home environments even if their parents tried their best, who experienced things like parents divorcing or dying, who have parents who experienced mental health crises in front of their children, who suffered through traumatic things like hurricanes or earthquakes or floods or fires, and so on.

And yet, despite hundreds of thousands of people in America growing up in circumstances like those I listed above, we don't constantly hear about serial killers who drill holes in children's heads to try and turn them into sex slaves and eat the remains of the victims they brutally rape and murder.

It's almost like some people are born totally fucked, and even if they had a happy and ideal childhood, they probably would have always grown up to be some level of fucked.
 
I love that she pulled out her “I have an 80% success rate as a diagnostician” again. You’re not Dr. House, Steph. You couldn’t even manage working in an old folks home and drank sanitizer to get your bosses to stop being mad at you.

I wouldn’t want a social worker with Steph’s level of experience especially to diagnose me with a mental health condition. Go to six different clinicians for mental health and you’ll get six different diagnoses, and who knows which one is “right” because it’s not like x-raying a broken leg. Or even finding some weird case of “your lung is in your elbow” like on House.

Where did this 80% success rate come from? Who has she actually seen as a clinician properly enough to make a diagnosis? How did she track her patients to ensure they never received a more accurate diagnosis and that hers was ultimately the correct one? (Maybe Loki tells her if she’s right.)

Besides, she diagnosed Jeffrey Dahmer after death even though that’s not really possible or accurate and some clinician agreed it could be possible, checkmate, Steph is the (failed) social worker version of Dr. House. With shrooms and ghosts instead of Vicodin and hookers.

Refresh my memory: I know Stephanie keeps renewing her license, but is she a LMSW or LCSW? The former credential is for graduates; the latter, in NY state, needs three years of supervised clinical practice. My understanding, which I realize now was an assumption, is that she was reprimanded and drank hand sanitizer during those clinicals.

If Stephanie has her LCSW, she'd be legally allowed to diagnose in the state of NY, and can even do it by telehealth. She wouldn't have to work for anyone; she could be helping troons by the dozens cheese their disability applications over Zoom. Letting the revolution down, Yarrow!

Most importantly but less visually striking, she started her fake magic mushroom arc, initially with woo aunt "functional mushroom" chocolates that were totally getting her high for real.

I think her whole 'possessed by Lolki' story arc, starting when she made a Tumblr account to channel Loki, leading to a load of slapfights and call outs, whilst she called people FECKLESS CRETINS. Screen capping it in real time was one of my favourite moments posting in this thread. It went on for a few days. Most of it is covered on page 1613.

Combine the Loki posting with the recent horsing video and it's a solid OP entry. It could probably all be grouped under a section 'Being married to Loki' though. Her Loki fanfic featuring the salmon slappers would fit in there, plus her regular Loki predictions for an upcoming Fagnarok.

Also another vote for her mushroom larp, even though I feel like it hasn't quite hit it's peak yet.
