Pay by hour lawyers are usually the real ones. All the best lawyers, criminal or civil, the ones hired by rich and powerful people and big business, are going to be charging (a lot) by the hour, not a flat fee or you pay nothing unless we win
The you pay nothing unless we win firms are the faceless bare minimum effort lawyers (unless you bring them an amazingly strong and lucrative case) who will do everything to settle as quickly as possible so they can get payouts like it's an assembly line. Many payouts, smaller profit on each one = big overall profits

Took a nap, and haven't caught with all the coverage (haven't even finished Kuihman's, but I'll watch jstlk's next), but I did see this clip from twitter in which jstlk again confirms that he has logs saying that Destiny doesn't know Rose's age and that he's terrified that she might have been underaged.
I'm prideful of the work I've done ever since I was a teenager, I started working while in school when I was 14 as an online freelancer, so I won't allow a retarded Footsie try to insult me. Keep in mind, this moron has been going at it for a week now.
Am I priviledged? absolutely, I have family members who's careers will exponentially reduce the costs of construction, still, I'm proud of being able to build a house with my own money, I've made a lot of personal sacrifices ever since I was 14 to be able to get to this point.

So all kidding aside this is a good reason to think they'll settle. Pxie might have a great case but its anyone's guess if she can actually sustain the legal case to its conclusion. For this reason it seems to me neither party really wants a protracted legal battle and are incentivized to resolve this out of court unless the girl has something up her sleeve.

I can vouch for what jstlk is saying in the clip, Destiny has been deleting evidence, I've witnessed it myself, and multiple girls have reported it too.
