I've downloaded Robert Greene's book in EPUB format. I was pretty excited to finally read it, but is this really one of the rules? If so, and if this rule is considered on of the best ones, then it would seem that the book is just pure immorality, like Saul Alinsky's Rule for Radicals. Not just immoral, but dumb: helping a drowning man might not only be beneficial to him, but for yourself as well.

I’ve been looking on some posts on here, and I have to slightly disagree with the idea that Conservative, Inc.™ will be finished on here. If anding, due to the news of Crowder’s slip-ups with his treatment of his wife to Matt Walsh’s Twitter getting hacked for no real reason except for bait purposes, I don’t think this situation will destroy them as far as reputation is concerned.

The idea of Crowder being a true red conservative is just warped through people suggesting that you could ”CHANGE YOUR MIND” through knowing how rational thinking works is just flimsy at best. If anything, it just speaks volumes how this happened to Crowder, yet you don’t see this happening to Tucker Carlson after FOX News parted ways with him.

Either way, this is just the equivalent to slight little blips on a machine where everything is a straight line.

Truth probably is somewhere in the middle. I’m sure he sees himself as having the most to lose. The show and company has his name on it and he is making large investments in it. So I’m sure he sees himself as a misunderstood genius with the weight of the world. He probably has a huge ego and expects too much. But he is also a product of his environment. This is somewhat of a common theme for these types of media personalities. I suppose the challenge is in identifying the cases where the person who's down on their luck is an actually toxic person, and when the person is someone of character, worthy of your time and efforts, regardless of the outcome. Then again, most self-help books, no matter how acclaimed, are just that: self-help books. They're almost always situated on a scale of different levels of retarded, even ones who are often referenced (perhaps especially those that are often referenced), like Robert Greene's book. I'm mostly interested in reading the book to see what the fuss is all about.
