I'm not a lawyer, so maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that you can't use NDAs to prevent people from talking about illegal acts. Like, if you were an exec at McDank's and knew the corporate secret recipes, you would be in violation of your NDA if you left McDank's, and sold their recipes to Burger King. The Clown could, and probably would, come for you, and be in the clear. However, if you were an exec at McDank's and your superior was sexually harassing his staff, and the company covers it up, even if you signed an NDA, you could still talk about that, because the law is being broken. You've probably never been through a divorce. I've been divorced. Given that Crowder is a multi-millionaire, $25K/month is getting off light. With a good lawyer and a sympathetic judge, Hilary Crowder could take him for at least twice that amount. At least.

It depends on the NDA. I have to sign them constantly for my work, in fact I literally signed one last night.
Usually the NDA, because of legality, states they you’re not allowed to mention any of this unless doing so to law enforcement, legal representation, or under subpoena. Basically, you can press charges and seek counsel, but you can’t go to the media with the crimes if there are any.

I think something a lot of these people run into is thinking that they are the main character and that everyone they bring in and everything they interact with is secondary to them, when in reality regardless of if they actually are the main component, every other party involved feels the same way. This results in people like Crowder blowing up their lives because you don't get to be the main character 100% of the time, and people will usually have their best interests in mind, even if it is counterintuitive to the main persons goals.
