Ok, but you switched back to specifics of this case from a general statement re solution to unhappy wives. I just meant that, quite unfortunately, being “nice” to many women will only earn you their disgust.
I don’t know all that much about their relationship (watched some of his clips way back when, but quickly found out the shows were unwatchable, and something definitely not right with Crowder), but it looks to me like a trophy wife that he was never really into. Doubt niceties would have changed much at that level of a loveless business/pr marriage.

I agree with you, to a point. NDAs have their merit in certain circumstances, but the problem arises when companies overstep with unreasonable and unjustifiable restrictions and abuse them for no legititimate reason.

For example, if someone is working at a company that manufactures a (PROPRIETARY WIDGET USING COMPANY TRADE SECRETS), I could see the company enforcing an NDA and/or a non-compete clause as a condition of employment or upon separation. To me that's perfectly reasonable. You wouldn't want to invest time, money, research, and resources into developing something, only for some spiteful faggot to take your work to the guy across town who will undercut you by a nickel and ruin your business. (A.K.A, the China method). On the other hand, using NDAs and non-compete clauses or inherent restrictive covenants to basically silence someone forever, or even worse, claim that anything you develop as their IP in perpetuity, is complete and utter bullshit, and in my opinion, should be illegal on a federal level. I am a bit curious about the details of the NDA that Not-Gay Jared is/was under though. Most industry standards are anywhere from 1-5 years for an NDA. Longer ones tend to be for huge international conglomerates or major behind-the-scenes power players. Neither of which Crowder or his company is.

Slight PL, but in my line of work this is something that is dealt with quite often. No specifics, but it could be argued that if you work for a let's say, outdoor equipment manufacturer, and you come up with a revolutionary new propeller design for an outboard engine. Even if you developed it on your own time, if the company chose to pursue it, they could argue that it was developed "during the general course of employment" using their knowhow, and they would be entitled to the IP. But if you came up with a new type of computer keyboard, or something else not tangentially related to the companies products, they would have very little standing g to argue that they're entitled to own the IP. In the instances that I've had experience with, once both parties have been sat down and both sides have explained thoroughly, they usually come to an agreement before a court case happens. But since IP law is a patchwork clusterfuck and precedent is laughably ignored, I've seen some unexpectedly crazy things. 🤣 I will say though, despite their general faggotry on moat every topic, California generally has a reasonably sane IP stance, for what it's worth.

Crowder's behavior with his pregnant ex-wife was head-scratching to say the least. I've heard horror stories from friends who have absolute cunts for wives, but the ex-wife actually sounded like she cared about him with offering to drive and buy shit that Crowder needed.

Sure, there's always 2 sides to every story but for a supposed stalwart of the conservative movement, you'd think that at home Crowder would seek to be the "strong and silent type" who focuses on making sure that the wife and children are safe and taken care of.

They certainly don't conserve anything. Crowder himself has demonstrated that he's anything but the stoic, calm, masculine type of guy he claims to champion. Of course it's also deliciously ironic that he took great pleasure in berating men who didn't want to get married because of the inherent risks and told them to "man up" and stop being pussies about it.
