Adventure Time was okay for the first few seasons, but takes itself too seriously now. It went from a show about a boy having crazy adventures with a princess made of candy and his magic dog, to a 2edgy4me love story. Steven Universe has a better story, better characters, and better animation.

I was massively into Adventure Time for like five seasons then dropped it. I like Steven Universe more because in two seasons I very much enjoy the characters and the story more than I did in five seasons of AT, and even then I find Steven Universe has more substance to it. The art's more than noodle arms and dot eyes.

Just watch nothing but History Channel documentaries on Netflix like I do, you'll learn things.
I can answer all your questions about James Buchanan here.

No Clarence? No Uncle Grandpa?! No Amazing World of Gumball?!! FUCK RIGHT OFF.

It doesn't matter which one is better - they all lose because of the Tumblrfucks ruining everything. That, and all my choices are better, anyway. Because Autism and Stupidity in my animated fare drives me! I lead a sad, messed life in need of more laughter than Adventure Time or Steven Universe could ever hope to give me, seeing as unlike my choices (at least IMHO), NEITHER SHOW IS FUNNY. AT ALL.

I need to laugh, DAMMIT. LAUGH!

Neither.

Both shows are bland and infested with SJWs. Though, SU has a better art style.

Watching adults sperg over kiddy shows. It is can be more fun and fulfilling than watching shows made for little kids, especially with the adult fan base that thinks 2deep4u.

I wandered off from AT about... I dunno. 4? 5? I moved and didn't have cable for a while and never bothered to follow up on it online.

I liked it mostly. Near when I dropped it they were getting into a lot of relationship stuff. I didn't really mind it that much. Anything with Lumpy Space Princess being dumb and a jerk is mostly great.

Earlier than where I left there was some really impressive shit they blindside you with too.

Even saying what episode it happens in will ruin half the impact so I'm not getting into it any further.

Adventure Time, full sail. The show felt like one of Cartoon Network’s last 90s era style cartoons. I feel that Steven and TTG changed the Network around for more wannabe intellectual politics shows and just dumb shows.

Adventure Time is by no means perfect, far from it as seasons 5-6 dragged and were way too world-buildy for my taste, but the character driven narratives the show told were stuff that has stuck with me for years. Finn, Flame Princess, and Ice King were all excellent in how they developed over the course of the show and I genuinely felt bad for them at times. I used to not care much for the humor, but going back, it was pretty funny at times and I think I took the simple comedy aspects of it for granite when I first watched. The way I see Adventure Time is that it is a mixed bag of some of Cartoon Network’s highest highs and lowest lows, but the heights truly make it special to me. I wish AT was able to more easily get out of the Steven bind as it is usually considered the same as Steven in the bad 2010s cartoons, but honestly I see it more alongside Regular Show and Gumball in being what brought the network up. IDK, wish the show was given more credit.
