Speaking of 4chan, there’s currently a big hubbub on /co/:
Like clockwork, anytime something from SU drops, a bunch of people will come out defending it like mad. Special mention goes to that one guy trying to make PPG out to be this man hating show to prop up SU.
Reminds me of this image I found on /trash/

You know, for someone trying to be "stunning and brave" by telling people to defy racism, it seems awfully cowardly to then disable the comments to your video.

It's almost as if public discourse actually leads to problem solving and they don't actually want the problem to be solved.
I fucking hate youtube's kid safety feature so goddamn much

Definitely getting mixed signals here...

My favorite part of the ad is the villain character is fine with them being gay, but interracial relationships crosses the line.
That struck me too, but it's actually part of the point.

When something is still kind of controversial with a large portion of people, like showing faggy kids in a cartoon, then you treat it as completely normal and don't draw attention to it because you're trying to normalize it to people on the fence, and people in your group.

When something is mostly accepted, with only minority of people shoved outside the rest of 'civilized' society still reeing about it, then you keep bringing it up, 'fighting it' and bitching about it, because it gives you power and attention in the community.

More I think about it the stranger it is that the show with space amazons with writers trying to rub into everyone's faces how into the gays they are would be afraid to do a PSA about being cool about gays.

So, when is Sugar going to do a sex education PSA with the gems? She did say that Stevonnie was like the 'First time' metaphor in relationships. The way she talks about it is pretty creepy, imho.

Between this, Big Mouth, and the 12 Forever chick, the weird fixation these degenerate animators have on child sexuality is really starting to make me wonder...🤔

That quote sounds like Sugar viewing sex and adulthood as horrifying more than anything. The gem fusion being an allegory for sex is a pretty unsexy version of sex, keeping in line with the typical feminist way of hating all references and realities of sex or actual adulthood. As a result you get Sugar using gem fusion in place of sex while thinking of it as 'not'. If she was more accepting of sex as an idea she might've been able to pick up on just how creepy she honestly was to have a couple kids mind fucking each other.

Though really if they hadn't done the whole hamfisted approach to treating fusion under false pretenses like it was rape they could have had an easier time treating it as them just being friends and in sync with each other.

That's nothing, take a look at this recent episode of Victor and Valentino with this creepy character played by one of the show's crew members, it's got some very creepy undertones for some reason

Did i mention that the person who voices this character looks like this https://tw.tinf.io/miggsboson/status/1287641129442131968

Good fucking god, that's a few steps away from getting sexual tones. Seriously, what is it with animators and drawing chubby kids in their UNDERWEAR of all things?! The photography and catwalk at the end doesn't help the kid's borderline nudity as he poses for the cameras while an adult man dressed in drag sings about skin.

Edit; Grammar

Did i mention that the Tranny character makes clothing from what i can assume is human skin, which Valentino wears in the end and everyone ends up loving it... yeah

Edit: She's also the one who tweeted this a while ago http://archive.md/Xkoia
