Oh no, I get that, I just find it tasteless that they used rape victims as a comparison.I think they meant more about “blaming the victim”, just did so with a bad analogy.

Not sure how valuable this information is but a lot of people I know work in daycare/ babysit and I've never heard them talk about Steven Universe. If you ever talk to people who work with children they complain about all the shows/ trends the kids they watch are into and Steven Universe never comes up.
Considering how utterly spaztic the schedule is, I don't blame them. And really, I think the only reason Steven Universe is longed lived as it is, is because it was the first CN show to be made by a women and cancelling it will just bring complaints from the usual crowd.
Oh not just any woman; a LGBT, Jewish female. No way CN would want to deal with the shitshow that would fall out from canceling SU.
God “he’s” hideous! And he works on the show? What’s up with that?View attachment 1062715
This is one of Steven Universe crew. Considering to this that fact that """""he""""" weighs like a whale, how much you will give """""him"""""? For me, if ''''he''' will go (and i will not be surprised at all if '''''he''''' will) with breast removing and putting a meat sausage (that ''''he''' will have to shave, even the tip) i give '''''him''''' 4 years before fully realizing what a fucking mistake '''''he''''' did, and after that, 2 years before '''''he''''' will do a flip
Well then. Certainly not something I expected to see be up brought regarding the crewniverse. Although, I really shouldn't be surprised.View attachment 1062715

I get the feeling many of these episodes were being worked on before they came with with all those developments in the first series and just never got around to fixing them when it came time to do the actual episodes. If there’s any optimism to this, we don’t know how long Future will last so and we still don’t know the context for White Diamond in the opening. They could still touch upon that.
But if we’re being honest, I’m kind of disappointed that they’re rehashing “Rose was shit person” and “Steven is still living in her shadow” (only it’s even worse) for the sequel. It feels like both Rose and Steven are reversing their character development, especially in episodes like Guidance and Volleyball in particular. Hopefully the next episodes will change things up.
Used to. He hasn’t been part of the crew for a few years, and only ever did revisions (which is basically just cleaning up other people’s messy boards).God “he’s” hideous! And he works on the show? What’s up with that?
He is still working on Neo Kosmos with his wife?Used to. He hasn’t been part of the crew for a few years, and only ever did revisions (which is basically just cleaning up other people’s messy boards).
Yes but in a different way. They were originally presenting Neo Kosmos online in an animatic format, but that was really exceptional and wasted so much time vs just drawing regular comic pages that they quit that venue, and are now working on publishing NK as a series of YA novels. Or maybe it's already published idk I don't care that much about NK because it took forever to do anything and even then nothing really happened. He is still working on Neo Kosmos with his wife?
Speaking of that, I thought I'd check out their Q&A page and I found this.

Don't get me wrong, I understand where they're coming from and I would also feel that protective of my work, but what is it with some Tumblr users and comparing things to rape?
He also talked about his "skin routine "The latest two episodes were pretty good, but one highlight for me is how Steven is now vegetarian.
I guess it does fit his character considering he is now in his teenage years, and he has been shown trying to befriend literally anything. But it feels a bit odd considering he spent most of the series being the fat kid that eats lots of junk food.
He even rejected some pancakes with lots of sugar!
Guess he's not straight
Me either, I thought it was come out later.i literally didnt even know that steven universe future thing was even out
The vegetarian steven timeline is the gay timeline then? Got it.Steven has always been very girly, I think. Nothing out of the ordinary for a boy living with mostly sisters(or gems in this case).
But now that you mention that, Connie, his girlfriend, has been suspiciously ignored since the season 5 finale.
In the Spinel movie she only got a mention, I think, and she supposedly has been busy "studying" to explain her absence this season. As if they simply didn't want to do anything with her.
With how much they have been avoiding Connie lately, I wouldn't be surprised if the show ended up ditching her for a boyfriend reveal for Steven.
I know it would be unthinkable in any other show, to break a beloved established couple for representation, but knowing Sugar and her woke crewniverse, I wouldn't be surprised if they downgraded Connie to a friend and replace her with a boy as Steven's love interest.
What ruined that for you? Also this is technically a new series that further expands upon the first one.I thought this show had at least some redeeming qualities until this new season/show(?).
