yeah, I'm a bit hyperbolic. It's supposed to be entertaining. I don't think anything about my crappy videos indicates they should be taken too seriously.

Thank you for beating down on this overrated trainwreck of a show, man. In fact, this was so good, I've decided to subscribe to you - only because you need more love, m8 - and this vide especially needs more exposure. More people need to see just how bad this show truly is.

Simple - because I wanted to like this show (hell, there was a time where I wanted to properly participate in this thread, as a result - but ultimately couldn't, unless to make fun of it.); but the show makes it impossible with how bad I feel it is... And has been for quite some time to me.

Also, it really fucking sucks that I can't express negative opinions on it, either, it seems, which last time I checked - is partially why this thread exists - to express BOTH positive AND negative opinions on it. Are you telling me I can't do that? If so, that's just wrong, IMHO.

Hatewatch doesn't come to mind for me - at all... Like I said, there was a time where I did like this show, but then I took a step back and realized how crap it unfortunately was (IMHO). To be honest, I'm quite angry at myself for wasting any time on this show and not something better, honestly, knowing how things have turned out with it - besides the fanbase being embarrassing to be associated with.

Although being apart of the hatebase is arguably worse. I just really loved that video @oddish made, as it mirrors most of my thoughts on this show and how downhill it's gone for me, personally.

I know a guy who's kept up with Dragon Ball Super for 100+ episodes now and actually hates the show but still watches it anyway. This mindset boggles me.

You're speaking in the past tense about trying to enjoy it. If the show makes it "impossible" for you to like it I don't think it's going to suddenly change after 132 episodes and four years of being on the air and spin your opinion around.

I didn't say that, all I did was ask a question. I watch and read negative opinions about Steven Universe quite a bit because I like gathering other perspectives on the things I enjoy and they allow me to think more critically about it. You've continuously been outspoken about how much you dislike the show to the point that you've seen mad at it at times, if you strongly dislike media that much I don't see the point in consuming it. I think the new Power Puff Girls is shit, ergo I haven't watched it and don't plan on watching it.

I never got why people hatewatch shows, then again, I've done it before, so I'm not really one to complain.

Anyhow, I'm stull surprised CN's said nothing about the next batch of episodes. In fact, I'm beginning to doubt they're going to air those unless they shove it off to Boomerang or something.

I've always skipped the episodes that have nothing to do with the Gems or their homeworld (along with all of the musical sequences) and even then there's so much padding. It's really frustrating since I'm quite interested in their lore and caste system, but it's too bad everything always has to focus on Steven.

And are Rebecca Sugar's infamous Ed Edd 'n Eddy drawings in that artbook? Because if you put a character design like that in without thinking it through, then anything's fair game!

CN has never handled the airing of the show well, and I can never understand why. I still enjoy the show for what it is, I'm not going to sperg about it's "the best thing ever" or watch it "ironically" because I think it's stupid. I'm just invested in the story and characters and want to see how it ends.

To be fair, you could say that for almost all of CN's shows. It's just that this show seems to have it the worst for whatever fucked up reason.
