It’s less the showrunners and more CN itself. They did premier the first two minutes of the next episode at NYCC, so it’s pretty much in CN’s hands now. Wouldn’t be surprised if the entire season has been done for months.

That has to be one of the most poorly edited trailers I've ever seen. There's no sense of a consistent tone or momentum, it switches between fading out and just cutting from scene to scene for no reason, the scenes they choose just call attention towards how flatly composed the show is and the whole thing feels like a rough cut that accidentally got released as the final version.

P.S. I take it "New episodes on the CN app" is the Cartoon Network equivalent of moving a show to Fridays, because I'll be shocked if this thing gets another season.

It just means they’ll premiere on the app and then air on tv later. CN is trying to push its streaming service, so they’ve been doing this with a lot of their shows that aren’t Teen Titans Go! and New Powerpuff Girls. It’s why the last batch of Steven Universe episodes “leaked” early, because CN launched them on the app before airing them on tv.

Why the hell they’d launch them on the app before TV, we may never know.

I think that happens with a lot of CN shows

I like Adventure Time, but the last 2 or 3 years there's never been any sort of advertisement for the new episodes and sometimes they get dumped on Saturday, other times it was a new episode every weeknight.

Granted Adventure Time isn't nearly as good as the first couple of seasons, but I still enjoy it as a show.

All 6 episodes of the latest "arc" are out now, (Only on the CN app) it'll be awhile till they run on tv but they've also been put on dailymotion in full 1080p which I've went and linked below in order. Overall I thought it was a pretty neat little batch of episodes.

I haven't watched them yet but my sister was pretty disappointed. They're not bad episodes but they didn't live up to the hype they were getting. I'm pretty upset it didn't include the Lars episode.
