I saw a big sign that is obviously a quote recently. It said:

If generations change, and your problems are still the same (i.e., not fixed), maybe the problem is that feminism doesn't work?

I'm not super sure where else this might go so pls forgive if this isn't the place for it but I am so fucking bummed that Ethel Cain is trans.
I really enjoyed his music and honestly thought he was just an unfortunate looking woman that didn't try to hide it (i.e. leaning into unfortunate features in a way that a lot of young internet-savvy women do, sort of the opposite of an influencer). His music went from something that I thought was a woman making beautiful art about terrible, painful shit that a lot of women go through to the reality, which is a man fetishizing women's pain and pretending it's his own. And so much of his music is explicitly about the female experience, which he has never had. It turns what had been incredible songs into something really creepy and unsettling.

I don't think there's a thread like this in the Stinkditch. The closest one I could find that is tangentially related is Transgender Criminal Defense, which focuses on the "trans women can't be rapists" rhetoric.

The fact that bozos call women "cis privileged" when being a woman historically has meant a lack of privilege. How narcissistic can you be?
