Why aren't there many trans man who are lolcows not saying they don't exsit but most of the lolcows who are transsexuals that I come cross on the internet are trans women most of the time

The SRS/GRS horror stories thread brought to my attention a thread I was unaware of regarding detrans people. It's more of a personal anecdote repository rather than a community watch thread, but one is apparently currently in the works. I think it would have its place here and the higher visibility might promote its use.

it’s such hilariously bad timing for Stewart to start cheerleading for child mutilation. It’s so 2015!

Do you think it’s because he has a load of recent uni graduates in the writing room? Or does he have a gayden in the family?

I’d love to see Jon Stewart and Bill Maher discuss it - Maher gets how fucking weird it is that there are suddenly shit loads of trans boys, especially amongst the media professional, financially comfortable, two coast, dem families.

At some point someone will notice that a lot of the imported POC adoption kids are trooning too - and the MtF kids are disproportionately likely to be black or from Christian families, while the FtM kids are more likely to be white and from crunchy mom families (as well as the genderspecial kiddies of both sexes).

Sorry for being off topic but what the hell happened to Jon Stewart? Ever since he left the Daily Show his sanity has been depleting into a crazy hobo.

Can you expand on your thoughts re MTF kids in black, adoptee &/or Christian families? With the teen MTFs, consistent origin stories seem elusive, at least in terms of their families. A black connection is not something I have observed before, so I'd like to hear more.

My observation is that the ftm Aidan/Liam/Olivers are usually hyperonline, chubby daughters of moms who are either in a state of suspended adolescence themselves (i.e. the libfem mom who is still heavily invested in her own value in the sexual/social marketplace, subconsciously competing with her kids for attention) or the emotionally checked out mom (of any political/religious affiliation) who basically outsourced parenting to the internet during a sensitive developmental period (tween/early teen in particular).

I've seen transes (both ftm and mtf) emerge from certain Christian families (and not necessarily rainbow woke Xians). Not all of these kids seem to fall into the "fundie parent trying to trans away the gay" category. Some just seem to be generic genderblob bluehairs, not necessarily secret gays. Maybe it's simply that certain well-meaning religious mothers are also susceptible to the gauzy "Be Kind" messaging, so opt to play along just like their secular equivalents.

The adoption stuff isn’t really collated anywhere central, as far as I know but it’s a big pattern in the groups for sceptical/non affirming parents of Genderspecial kids and I reckon it must be the same in the Glittergroups.

Old article but I will try and dig out some more info later (currently trying to document some more Mermaids staff stuff as they still haven’t quite managed to delete fucking everything.

So risk of slight power level but since I did it anon and this is anon I figured WTH.

Basically I was contacted by a BBC of all people journalist who is doing an investigation into Detransitioners and the behaviour of Gender GP and by extension Mermaids (even though I had fuck all to do with them when I was trooning out)

I have noticed that the conversation is changing, its no longer people just accepting what the various Stonewall, Mermaid shills etc. shit out

I'm not sure where to put this, but this is a survey/"study" being done by the National Center for Transgender Equality. I like to fuck around with surveys i.e. lie to skew the data and figured there may be just a few other people here who like to do the same.

Because most "transmen" (females) are self-hating and thus don't participate in the rampant narcissism that comes along with the worst aspects of "femininity": Dressing up in garish costumes, painting their faces, seeking praise and approval from their peers, etc.

When you have MALES "doing femininity" how could one not find it off-putting, hilarious, toxic, and ultimately dangerous? Add to that the lack of shame and self-awareness about how they look and behave? Horrific "comedy gold." Reminds me of this joke an old comedian once told about how when his wife-to-be was holding up two different dresses and asking for his opinion on which one was better (I'm paraphrasing the joke, but go with it). His response was something like, "when will women understand that we men CAN'T see the difference!" Now apply that to these AGP's playing dress-up on the internet, ultimately failing super-hard at it and yet, being built up by sycophants and other sick men around them telling they "slaaay" and "yasss go queen" and my god - It's just rich.
