Been eating lots of cherries lately
I think Blackberries are the most unique stonefruit, as evidenced by the fruit having a bundle of extant fruit-flesh wrapped seed nodules surrounding the torus. Blackberries are also the second most anti-cancer fruit on the planet, with the #1 spot going to cranberries, which, also unbecoming of their etymology, are fruits as well. Wanna know what is a true and honest berry? Watermelon.

Blackberries are indeed stone fruits. So are raspberries, coconuts and dates.
This reminds me... I like coffee a lot and have started to see "stone fruit" show up in many of the tasting notes on the bags, or sometimes when Youtube coffee guy Lance Hedrick is sampling whatever coffee he's dialing in. "Stone Fruit", can mean pretty much any fruit. How about Peach? That's what you mean anyway. I'm pretty sure you don't mean Coconut. How about Peaplucherrycot.? Or just "fruit"?

Bringing blackberries into a stone fruit thread is like bringing tomatoes into a discussion about your favorite berry. It's tryhard redditor behavior.

The peaches are finally ripe at the peach orchard in my town. They're like juicy candy this time of year. I'm tempted to make a peach pie, but that almost feels like a waste when they're already this good on their own.

What are your thoughts on stone fruits in baked goods, frens? Peach pie, peach cobbler, plum kolache, or what have you?

I mean, it's one of those "technically correct" in a dictionary but anyone not a flaming retard (or a botanist) is gonna go, "yeah no".
Pawpaw would be mine but it's not really a stone fruit. I'll take pecans and walnuts any day in cobbler/pie.

My grocery store has several varieties of pluots/plumcots now. I bought a bag of greenish ones and they're sweet and a little tart. Lovely little things.

Plums are the kind of fruit I really love, but I usually pick other things over them because I overlook 'em.

I'm OBSESSED with peach cobbler. It's my absolute favorite.

When I was a kid, we used to go to the cherry orchards and do the ‘all u can pick’ haul whenever the season came round. So much fun getting up there in the tree and picking cherries, waving honeybees away and sneaking a snack every now and then when no one was looking. Cherries are my favorite. I haven’t seen a farm like that in years now but if I did, I’d be there so fast.

Never seen a red velvet apricot, but they look delicious! Fruits that are tart are the most satisfying to me; that funny pucker, and your eyes tearing just a little from the sour followed up by sweetness, it’s always better when one of the flavors is a little stronger than the others. This is really OT but I love concord grapes for the same reason. Yum.

1/2c brown sugar, 1/4c orange juice, 1c apricot puree, 2T dijon mustard, tt clove powder and cinnamon. Boil it, reduce it to your desired thickness, slather it on a ham during the browning stage (last 30min).
E- Some instructions now included. Also, spiral cut is for people who like dry ham. Score the outside and carve that shit yourself.

Peaches, apricots, and cherries have arrived at my workplace, but we still don't have nectarines. I'm kind of worried.

They don't like high winds (apricots less so). Been kind of an issue this year aside from the usual. Only ones I've seen about about quarter size this year.
Cherries this year all seem shit to me, they've had dye and wax added.
