This has prompted front page retards to tip off the thread subject, resulting in privating of their social media and emminent thread death.

Examples:

Featured on Mar 22, 2022 at 8:45 PM: Introducing Landon Hiscock, the fanny farting tranny.
two days later:
account has been nuked 24/4/22 RIP Fanny Traggot

you will always have a special place on the farms

Featured on Mar 15, 2022 at 3:30 AM: Meet the Kinkeads: an entire family of lolcows!

i think he's sniffed the farms

I was really enjoying the Fanny Traggot posts :(

Ah yes the conundrum of "There's people shitting the thread up and I am mad about it!" If only we had a way to let the people with the ability to remove such pests know so they can deal with it and the thread can be a little more readable.

Oh wait.

This is pretty much going to happen regardless of whether or not a thread is featured. We're not a small time forum any more, hell I'd argue we dethroned 4chan as the internet's biggest boogeyman. Everyone is aware of us and troons in particular are hyper paranoid.
Good point, I agree that it's pretty much inevitable they'll find out sooner or later.

I guess it's a question of whether it's worth delaying it or not. Is it better to have a few more weeks/months of content, or share a great thread to the masses as soon as possible, knowing it'll likely lead to the end?

Not everybody gets tipped off. Plenty of exceptional types are also paranoid, and look for themselves on sites like 4chan and KF quite often.

While I'll miss the milk, the less lulzy side of me prefers seeing people stop being cows or at least learn better privacy practices rather than digging their a̶m̶holes deeper. Rate me optimistic, I guess.

If this becomes a regular occurrence it maybe a better idea to maybe have that feature only be seen by members.

I agree, but how many of these people are actually going to change and not just start doing the same thing under a different name? They wouldn't be a cow if they learned their lesson like a normal person.

A big part of being a lolcow is posting everything online IMO. And if they stay online under a new name, well, cows are very good at outing themselves.

I agree that it shouldn't be posted on day one. most of the people come here to talk about chris chan and don't look at other cows. it's just going to lead to a shit ton of 'tards trying to get likes from their shitty "trolling". I really don't want to search through pages of random shit just to find new info.
