Why are so many internet users weebs anyway? Japese animu characters literally arr rook the same to the point where the artists have to give them retarded hairstyles and clothing and definitive hair colors for them to stand out from each other

Furry art is 500% better than Mangashit
With scene hair and a 16" cock, really? They even enter anime roleplaying spaces as Power fantasies last I checked, just to rape anime waifus.

Unless you talk about old disney cartoons, then furry art is definitely worse than anime.

The simple reason why weebery is so powerful on the iNTERNET is, because anime has for the most part likeable characters and isn't preachy and in general contemporary anime is better than contemporary Hollywood and TV stuff. Ironic, since most decent anime are heavily inspired by western media.

More an enjoyer but I keep it on the down low because I find anime fans in general to be massive cringy cunts that need hammer aimed at their nether region. I feel the hate keeps it and the Weeaboos in check as much as Anime and manga in general does deserve it's success.

Just like furry OCs right? Except you crank it up to 11. Yeah anime girls all look similar once you take away things like hair, clothing, or even body types, but that is just the style. It's extremely simple base that has a lot of room to work with. Honestly I appreciate artists who go out of the way to draw details such as lips and noses that you traditionally don't see. I don't really watch anime but I play a fair amount of Japanese games. I am a fan of art for Nier and Final Fantasy 14.

We have noticed the unholy shift from wholesome anime to degenerate shit in the last 20 years or so.

If Naturo was done today it would be crap. Can you imagine Naturo done nowadays? It would be crap full of cliches, waifus, bad animation, modern politics and none of a soul.

The absolute state of modern anime fans is that they all need to die, possibly burned at the stake. They're all consoomers at best and coomers at worst.

Whether if western fans degenerated first and then anime degenerated to cater to them, or anime degenerated and then western fans degenerated with it is a chicken or egg situation.

I noticed "weeb shaming" began to pick up steam not long before woke went mainstream.

You reminded me of that time the feds tried to push a meme that Star Trek fans were pedos. For all of like two weeks, then when it didn't catch on the articles all disappeared as suddenly as they'd appeared.

I hadn't really thought about it because I remember anime hating as another lame SA thing people cling to, but yeah it's probably another divisive psyop like gamer joker. I have no idea why governments are so afraid of nerds, we really just wanted to peacefully masturbate.

Maybe the fear of "nerds" is because "nerds" are smart and nonconformist?

Yeah kinda. I think the real reason is that "nerd" "culture" grew out of what was meant to be the marginal outcast class according to the previous generation of programming (I'm talking basically all 20th century media following the american sitcom template up until the mid 2000s), so being a definition by exclusion it's tough to nail down.
The standard strategy has been to draw lines as broadly as possible to keep people divided (generation wars, gender war, sportsball, etc) and part of that is maintaining incentives to conform to the received definitions of whatever in-group, or else you are an untouchable nerd who will get beat up. Except given enough time that population grew to basically the majority (according to classic definitions; I mean games are like the biggest entertainment industry and comic book superheroes and minion shit are somehow normie drek now, but it's impossible to re-draw those lines due to media diversification) so it's not even nonconformism so much as nobody knowing or giving a shit where the boundary to conform is anymore.

I think that's why it's gotta be an artificial identity politics campaign to declare whether you are or aren't a "gamer" (I hope everyone remembers how retarded that label sounded before they started pushing that) or an anime or whatever.
Like it's not intrinsic or obvious as a group to belong to anymore; it's incredibly mainstream. So the fall-back tactic is to make it an interior rivalry thing for nerds to argue over, which you can't actually form any stable group consensus around because everyone watches anime so it's a schizophrenic battle between anime fans and people lying about being anime fans like null lol

Bro, anime is gay.

I remember being like 12 or something and hearing people going on about Dragon Ball Z, and I thought "Well everyone seems to like it, it must be cool I'll give it a shot" and I watched like 3 episodes and realized no I'm not misunderstanding, this is genuinely fucking retarded.
The kind of people who are into anime are the same brand of emotionally stunted untermensch who coom over professional wrestling constantly. There's just something wrong with them.

Unless someone is habituated to constant overstimulation, anime is not that comfortable to watch. I don't like it, I don't like how I feel after watching it, I don't like the tropes, I don't like how all the male characters look like faggots, I don't like how the anime girls are so cynically designed, I don't like how overengineered everything is.
Anime sucks, even the highest quality anime is only tolerable in small doses.

What you're saying sounds like those Health At Any Size fat ladies who have to cope by convincing themselves that everyone else is super jealous of how they shove pure sugar and lard in their face constantly.
No, it's grotesque. It might feel sort of nice in a very shallow way at first, but it's not satisfying and it makes you feel bad in the long run.

I won't sit here and tolerate someone pretending that anime isn't garbage.

Tyranny wants people divided so they can't unite against tyranny: that "divide and conquer" thing.

So if there's divisive "social engineering" going on with pop culture, it shouldn't be surprising.

Yeah; and it's not like anyone is pro-anime the way people are against it: 90% of it is shit like 90% of everything is shit.

Meanwhile, lemme list the other forms of media I get categorically upset by: none, because that's fucking stupid. But specifically cartoons from Japan specifically are uniformly something to recite strong feelings about?
I'm curious to know if such dipshits have the same automatic response to manga: that'd basically confirm that what we're dealing with is a case of the jew fearing the samurai

DBZ IS retarded, once I started watching better animes than that I never looked back.

It sounds like you simply haven't seen any good ones, it's like judging all TV as bad because all you've seen is Days of Our Lives or all movies as bad because all you've seen is Space Mutiny.

yep - like I said:

Anime is a medium, not one genre. Hating it just because "it's anime" is like hating all live action films.
(and I highly doubt all American fans of anime are mentally ill despite the apparent stereotype)

it's not like anyone is pro-anime the way people are against it
Japanese ways can be too foreign to Americans, so I can see how many aren't into anime. But some get overly judgemental about it.
