I mean to be able to bot the EU petition you would have to set up some tool that could generate a bunch of Civil ID numbers (something akin to the Social Security Number in the US) to be able to bot it in an effective way, would that even be feasible?
in maldivus ferretfucker's thread a eurocuck kiwi said you need a ID of sorts or a tax number which proves you live in the EU in order to sign the petition.

Identities get leaked all the time, I think the implication is that some bad-faith script kiddie starts inputting stolen numbers and signs people up who never heard of the initiative, therefore sabotaging it.

that actually works in favor of it as it's a petition and each ID inputted will give it weight as the politicians won't give two shits about it.
task failed successfully.
Actually, if they call up a bunch of people to check if they signed up for it and it turns out there was fraud involved in getting the signup number past the finish line, it will cause a big controversy and the bigwigs won't care who's responsible, they will just shut it down to avoid having to deal with it. The gaming "press" will react accordingly and most will just consider Ross a charlatan going forward, these types of false flag attacks get pulled by the left wing all the time and they usually work.

Nobody remembers that Gamergate was about ethics in gaming journalism, everybody remembers the evil virgin gamers sending death threats to women because the press repeated that lie enough times.

Think of it like a store: it closes for the night, but you can still go in and the goods will still be there for the taking even though there's no one serving you. Well, it's a bit like that - only not at all, because this is legal and you didn't need to break the window.
Damn, I can't believe Snenk has become a communist shittalker - actually no, I can, he's always been opposed to the faggotry AFAIK, so I approve of the dig.

Almost 900k signatures. If this can force the fuckers at Valve/Wargaming/Gaijin/etc. to consider releasing their games' ACTUAL SDKs, then it is a major win for us all.

82K signatures and counting from today alone? Did something happen?
PewDiePie made a community post (archive) about Stop Killing Games on YouTube. Mark Kern made a tweet (archive) about this and it was retweeted by Elon Musk:

This had millions of views and reached a lot of people who probably never heard about the Pirate Software drama.

Ross also left a comment on PewDiePie's community post:

I skimmed a lot of your post, but the short is: You can allow multiplayer games to stay playable by releasing the tools to host private servers for it. Then the community would handle it, at no ongoing cost for the publisher.

Literally make server.jar available instead of only minecraft.exe. Sure there's some details to figure out for the publishers (reverse engineering, dig for security exploits on games still online using a similar back end), but you can chalk it up as a small cost of doing business in the future that would adhere to the simple rule of "Don't screw over your paying customers, leave them the ability to use what what they bought."

I guess they'll just have to figure it out. These's are companies that will spend more money creating these games than the vast majority of people using this website will ever see in their lifetime, I'm sure they can figure something out.
