NOTE: none of this stuff applies when stopping/slowing time is "achieved" by moving extremely fast like The Flash or something.

Okay, this is autistic as shit but

First off, doing so delays everything. Sure, things aren't delayed within time, but time itself was temporarily put on hold; everything's still "behind" where it should be. The universe is delayed by however long time was frozen for, like if someone froze time for a minute, after time's unpaused, it should be 12:30 when it's 12:29 and so on. You're making people wait, even if they don't realize it.

Second of all, everyone's still conscious. They don't realize what happened around them, nor that they were frozen, but that's because their brains were stuck and couldn't process new sensory information (e.g. the one who stopped time doing things in front of them) nor have new thoughts. Everyone frozen in time is just constantly feeling/thinking the exact same thing, without the ability to form new memories nor even realize time is passing. If someone's pepper sprayed at the exact moment time is stopped, they'll be feeling the searing pain for however long it's frozen, they just won't realize how long it was.

TL;DR: Using your cool new stopwatch to fuck with the school bully makes you a huge self-centered asshole because you're putting everyone else on hold.

You're talking about it as if those consequences are inevitable. It's fiction, none of that happens unless it's the author's intention.

I mean with teleporters yeah, but it's sort of inherently there with time manipulation.

I would move everything one inch from where it is, just to watch people freak out.

Anyway what's your question or are you just drunkenly ranting. Booze and pills don't make time stop for everyone.

So firstly this only even begins to make sense as a hypothesis if you have a different frame of reference outside the stopped time, which you haven't posited and which introduces a whole other slew of problems.

Secondly, go take it up with Lt. Dunbar.
