If her mom's having her friend go out of her way to help Kayla with her damn guitar that just popped up out of nowhere when she needed an excuse to whine, sounds like she cares about supporting Kayla to me.

Wrong. Your parents don't have to give two shits about what you want to do for a living and don't have to give you any kind of support. When that happens you just have to fucking deal and move on and work hard to achieve it yourself. Resisting the urge to powerlevel here, goddamn.

And more on the guitar string...

There's something slightly majestic about "sad Tumblr person strings along and neglects their sadder, very earnest Tumblr-person SO" becoming a full-fledged cycle of abuse in the Springtrapp/@Stray Sheep saga. How incredibly pathetic is Kinzie's inevitable neglected "partner" going to be?
These are sad Internet nerds, though, and hideous sad nerds have been type-fucking each other as long as the Internet has existed. If anything's going to keep Kinzie from picking up new partners, it's not going to be her appearance, it's going to be her lack of fashionable kintypes or otherwise being low on the terrible-nerd totem pole.well to be honest... I'm not 100% sure Kinzie could really get another partner, it's a miracle she has one right now.
Bwahaha, only she can save herself. Here is some more helpful advice that she will ignore. We have a traitor in our midst

Time to purge the heretic
If playing the guitar is so important to Kayla, how does she not know how to replace a string? Also, does she not understand how to tune a guitar? If she was checking that it was coming into tune as she went, she wouldn't have wound it too tight.

I'm pretty sure these guys don't believe any source of information that isn't an emotional Tumblr post
(off-topic, but my favourite example of this is the post going around saying snuggies were invented for wheelchair users, so making fun of them is ableist. the slanket was made before the snuggie and is the exact same thing; it was made by a guy in college who didn't want to get up from under his blanket to reach his drink.)
I have heard of some instances of women getting their diagnoses much later in life due to the fact that 30-40 years ago, doctors were less aware of how autism behaves in girls (girls with mild autism generally end up learning to emulate their peers due to wanting to blend in more, or something, so it was harder to catch). This shouldn't be happening nowadays, though.Autism IS more common in boys, that part is true, but I doubt any decent psychiatrist would deny a diagnosis based on someone's gender? That's ridiculous.
Ninja'd by @Overchek's caps. Gotta admit I'm not sure what you were referring to in your anon ask, but I'm surprised (not really) she went on to say she loves her brothers and doesn't resent them. That's...what she did all day.
