I love how she bitches about "Well if I can't use the internet how am I supposed to apply for school!?" or "without internet I can't download music to put on an iPod!"

Bitch, ask your fucking mom. "Hey ma, would you mind if I used the wifi for a few minutes to send in a college application?" "Hey mom, I was hoping to download a few songs for my iPod so I can sleep better at night, would you mind? It'll only take a half hour or so."

Of course her mom would say yes to those! But then that would mean she couldn't sit on Tumblr and bitch about every single thing in her life so nope, not even gonna ask.

With the caveat that her mum watches her like a hawk. Job applications, sure, nothing wrong with that. Otherwise.. I wouldn't want her on the wifi for very long, vis-a-vis the bolded part. Wouldn't trust her not to shitpost on tumblr again.

You have a FUCKING PC. And Windows Media player or Itunes come stock with either flavor of PC.

The Knife and I have about 40 gigs of music combined. That's about two straight months of 24/7 music without a repeat song.

I'm sure you can manage.

Why can't she just take the CDs she has already and burn them to the guvking computer. That doesn't require any internet at all. I just can't even wrap my mind around these excuses.

Maybe those CDs are lost somewhere in her dirty room. Another reason to clean it, I suppose.

If I recall, I believe that she stated that she has a netbook. And if that's the case, chances are it doesn't have a CD drive, more and more cheap laptops don't anymore.

EDIT: Realistically, that remark is likely just her whinging on that her parents didn't buy her a macbook like she wanted, and went with a budget laptop, opposed to an actual netbook.

I'd be willing to bet her parents would've gladly gotten her another string if only to get her ass off of tumblr (Edit: Not to say she deserved it). The guitar itself was probably lost in her room after the string broke and it became useless to her, does she even know where it is now? She could've easily gone with her family up to the music store to get it replaced, she has money and it wouldn't be out of her parents way to drive her up there considering her brother needs one too. How often did she even play the guitar, would it have been worth it to buy another string or would it just sit and gather dust afterwords?

@Stray Sheep why does it even matter? It doesn't seem like much of a hobby if you prefer to wait around for others to fix it for you, so many excuses. But this is Kayla we're talking about, I'm honestly not surprised.

It's not their goddamn job to put money and effort into your interests, Kayla. You're a grown woman. Use your own money. You obviously have some, considering you're willing to drop $100+ on a mobile game. This level of rich girl whining is ridiculous.

They are your interests. You put time into them because you are interested in them and capable of doing so considering you have an income. Your brother, being a jobless child, cannot do so, therefore his parents will help him.

I maybe slightly understood the music complaints because I make sure to have all my music stored on a hardrive for situations where I lose wifi (and laugh at my friends that insist on only spotify or YouTube, met with a sad silence the once a year the power will go out. Who's laughing now??). But this is guvking stupid. You can buy a box of guitar strings at target for between 6 to 14 bucks, and I really doubt she needs a specific kind of string (and if she does, you can order that stuff online and have it delivered right to your door). I can't comprehend how she can spend 100s on a mobile game herself without access to a guitar string she could buy on the same mobile device.
