Let me pick this apart a bit.

Let's say $600/month for rent. Disney trip being three month's rent. Hmm, but of course there are other aspects to life. Assume food would run you, as a single person, about $50 a week? You aren't going to be in a food desert in rich bitch land, so you'll be fine in terms of places to get fresh food. Learn how to cook and that saves you a lot of money. That also allows some money for getting takeout once a week or so. Then set aside some money for transport by bus - somewhere around $50 - $100. Now I don't know fares or the systems in Katy but you could probably bike if you weren't a lazy fuck. That brings us to about $850 - $900/month excluding a phone bill or utilities (which may or may not be included in rent). Your living costs could be reduced further if you got a 2 bed apartment and were tolerable enough to have a roommate.

Basically nothing is shocking in that Kayla is a liar and a bad one to boot. The only thing that realistically keeps her from moving out is her desire to be a lazy little mooch.

I mean I am her age and have only been living 5,000 miles away from home - in another country - and without any financial support from my parents for the past two years now. And let me tell you living as a non-EU immigrant in the UK under a fucking Tory government makes it pretty tricky as I have no access to any social safety net - just the NHS. Not like any of us here know about living out of home, or you know being a semi-functional to fully-functional adult.

EDIT: Also due to those things I do have to live in a "poor" neighborhood, because well hey there I fit that bill. Doesn't matter because frankly it's something I am used to. I wonder how well Kayla would react to not being in the cushy lap of upper middle class suburbia.

what the fuck she has the same exact phone model as me. admittedly it doesnt actually hold that much at first but if you know how to manage the damned thing then youll have enough space for music. this phone is more of a value option. lemme bring up my storage stats hold on

unless you constantly want to carry around 15 gigs of music, stop making excuses kayla. this has enough space to hold quite a bit of music. unless you're filling it up with junk apps and shit, you have enough space.

i'm pretty sure the misc area is covering some roms for emulators i run oops

While the Moto G was made for markets like India and Brazil, it is still classed as a "mid range Android phone". It can still run new apps efficiently and there is the option of boosting the memory up to 32gb with SD cards. Plus factoring in her phone bill as she's probably on their best plan, is not exactly the "cheapest phone in Wal Mart". $200 aint fucking cheap, and that's for the phone alone.

Edit: I looked at the Boost mobile site and wow she is getting ripped off big time

i paid $100 for mine in 2014, i think. she got ripped off for sure. who the fuck pays $200 for a phone like this?!

Could be due to its age. She may have bought it when it was new. The phone I used to have was 200 when new, but Virgin Mobile sold it for 45 bucks when it was a couple of years old.

55 a month is quite a lot in my opinion, and unlimited seems pretty unnecessary considering a lot of places have free wifi these days. My way of seeing things has always been if you can't get free wifi there, you shouldn't be using the Internet at all.

She'd save a lot if she just did that and went pay as you go, I don't imagine Kayla calls or texts a lot of people she could just talk to online.

The reason why she's getting the unlimited data plan is because she doesn't have wifi at home, so she uses the internet solely from her phone and keeps running out of data.

She also said that she was considering getting one of those 3g internet wifi plans (with the dongle I'm guessing) for $50 a month, though it wouldn't make sense to have both unlimited data and the wifi plan when her phone can connect to the wifi if she ends up getting the dongle.

That phone is one of the most wanted here because it cost 170-180 bucks unlocked on amazon, it's a blessing considering our annual cap of 300 bucks a year is a bitch for everything

But there is a model of the moto g that cost a little more because it can connect to 4G lte, the vanilla moto g only gets HSPA+ maybe she has that one

Let's be real, here. Even if Kayla did find cheap housing with roommates to share the costs with an whatever, would anyone want to live with her? She seems lazy in getting anything important done (like chores), and she doesn't even have a pleasant personality to live with. She doesn't seem like good roommate material.

I missed quite the train wreck it seems. I'll limit my power leveling to I remember feeling like her in my late teens and thank God social media and 90% of the internet didn't exist at the time. Otherwise there would probably be an ED page and thread about me. And I really need to clean my apartment.

Why not move out of town to a different place then? It's not like the town you're born in is where you're required to stay forever. Hell, save up and move out of state even! She has an excuse for EVERY DAMN THING people say to her, she doesn't even stop to think that there MIGHT be another solution out there.
