Oh wow, I watched Repo today on a whim as well. Weird. I've seen it a few times before though.

I wonder what it was that triggered her? The disembowelments would be the obvious answer I suppose.

Funny thing about this move is that it was a total box office failure, only generating about $188,000 when it cost $8.5 million to make. I like to watch it as one of those "So bad it's good/funny" type of things. It's always funny to see Paris Hilton and her "acting". She actually won a golden raspberry award for worst supporting actress for this one.

Doesn't surprise me that Kayla unironically considers it to be "pretty good". :lol:

I really, really want to know what "One Little Thing" is. There's a lot of things in that movie that could be OMG So Triggering :( to people, but I'm super curious as to what bothered her that much.

Zydrate Anatomy is unironically one of my favourite songs from that movie, no shame. The Devil's Carnival (same company or some shit?) has far better music and songs, although some of the acting is still a little spotty (to me anyway).

Seeing Anthony Head in such a shit film triggered me really hard.

I will bet all my limbs that her ONE LITTLE THING is the fact that both father figures (Anthony Head and Paul Sorvino) play very domineering, controlling fathers. JUST LIKE MAI DAD U GUIZ HE HATES ME AN DSHITS ON MY DRAEMS

Honestly, as far as cult films go, Repo and Devil's Carnival are pretty okay. I just don't grasp why Tumblr latches onto Repo so much. One of the big themes there is about the collapse of society due to people's rampant unchecked narcissism and consumerism.....
Also, off-topic, but if I recall, Paris Hilton essentially played herself in that movie.

My guess is because it's baby's first ~edgy~. And yeah, it was pretty much Paris in a cameo rather than playing a character.

I like how any author who writes a book with a white cishet male as a protagonist is somehow a worse person because of it. Like, it reflects badly on their character somehow. Did I say like? I actually meant it drives me fucking bonkers.

To add some context to this for those that are confused, some tumblr person made a post about John Green calling him creepy for whatever stupid reasons and John Green responded by being all "wow I can't believe tumblr thinks I'm a pedophile"

Basically stupid people being stupid at each other and tumblr flipping shit because there's a new "problematic" to rally against.

Have some cardboard cutout bullshit non-character who would need an extra dimension to be one dimensional, whose only characteristics are a collection of made-up gender pronouns and an ethnicity.
