Since he likes violence and modding do you think he would enjoy Brutal Doom for... well, Doom?
.
.
He was born in like 1991 or so right? Doom's 93 so I'm not sure if he's even tried it, so he probably hasn't even heard of this mod.

Does Jay have Postal 2? I don't think it'll be as much of a psychological spectacle as Jace's stream, but Jace has ascended to a higher place of cowdom that cannot be attained by mortal lolcow. Plus, I'd be interested to see what wanton destruction of civilians without repercussions would reveal in Tin Can Jim Bob.

Sims 3 maybe? With nettle mod?

Thanks @copypaste for posting the Five Frights At Denny's part of the stream, it was the most interesting part of it, the rest was sadly boring.

Also, apperently, Jay is streaming Digimon World now, but it is offline its back

I missed todays stream. Jay only lasted an hour. "I'm getting burned out from all this streaming."
Just like Chris. When doing what you were probably going to do any way becomes just a smidgin similar to work, he gets burnt out and (:_(.

Here ar his plans for next sunday.

I have the idea that all my Sunday game streams are going to focus on old emulators, which would be from the bygone computer generations that present-day kids may not have ever even heard of before! So I also get to help "teach history" and have fun showcasing old classics that I really like which aren't as highlighted. I'll probably focus on N64 or PS1 emulators, although I have a Gamecube one at the ready. Super Nintendo already has more than enough press, not to mention an over-saturated library.

I'll bet none of you young whipper snappers have heard of a PS1 N64 or Gamecube.

Someone should also inform Mr. A+ certified that if he's having technical difficulties livestreaming himself playing games NATIVE to his hardware and OS, then emulation is a whole other level of resource hogging. Especially when emulating fairly advanced consoles like the aforementioned PS1 N64 and Gamecube.

Hey, I'm younger than GK and I played N64 as a kid in the supermarket (even though it was the year it was discontinued). And got one years later for my retro colelction.
N64 emulation is very easy and not demanding (my ancient toaster from 2004 could do it), PSX isn't either but it requires more preparation due to BIOS and all.
Gamecube on the other hand, a whole nother level. More developed than PS2 emulation, but still hefty for the PC. His computer's gonna explode.
And GK knows jack shit about computers apparently. When he was asked about what RAM he has, he said something like "DDDR 20".

I haven't kept up with the emulation scene, so that's good to know, but from what I hear about his golden showers is that he's never JUST playing a game and streaming. He's got his epic music going, dozens of tabs open to god knows what and all of that takes a chunk of RAM and CPU time.

Hmmm. Is GoldenEye online multiplayer done through an emulator or has the game been ported to PC?

An hour. He lasted an hour and didn't do anything interesting. Why is he still streaming then?

The Golden Knight: I have 12 tabs open, most of them loaded. It's not a burden of RAM, it's a burden of CPU, and I could prove through Task Manager that they're not eating up the processor. Lag happens only when I stream, and it's quite bad.
Obamatron: Fire perfmon.exe, find the bottleneck.
---
Obamatron: I'd reccommend running perfmon to find what program is causing the bottleneck.
--
The Golden Knight: I don't need anything beyond conventional admin tools and observation to prove it.
A+ Certification

If he really wants to do retro stuff, I'd suggest going further back and cover systems that were not successful and thus lesser known.

Such as:

1. Amiga CD32: Could have been a serious contender had Commodore not collapsed shortly after its release.
2. 3DO: Simply too expensive for too long and too many FMV games.
3. Atari Jaguar: Could never live up to its potential due to being buggy complicated hardware and a bitch and a half to develop for.
4. Sharp X68000: Japan only computer system. Put the Amiga, Macintosh and Atari ST to shame.

or even further back:

4. Vectrex: Portable system by 1982 standards. Killed by the 1983 Video game crash.
5. Atari 7800: Could not compete with the NES due to Nintendo's later found to be illegal exclusivity contracts.
6. Sega Master System: Same fate as the Atari 7800 huge in Europe and South America though.
7. TurboGrafx 16: One of my personal favorites.
8. Atari 5200: Unreliable non centering analog controller made it unpopular and was also killed off in the video game crash.

It's all probably too much effort and getting out of his comfy zone, but I can dream.

Although Stream 4 was generally dull (other than Five Frights at Denny's), I did like the confirmation that Golday's hypocrisy is alive and well.

He introduced that Ittle Somethingorother as a game with a non-sexualised female protagonist, and in the same breath pointed out her red hair and bare feet :sighduck:

Oh man, that's some stuff... I saw all of these during my day in Berlin, in the Computerspielemuseum. Except Sharp X68000, never heard of that one.
Most of those can be emulated, except Vectrex I guess - a system which uses a completely different system of display, from contemporary arcades.
SMS wasn't quite a failure since you've mentioned that it's popular in Europe - I own one in my collection, that thing had lots of games made in the 90s parallel to their Mega Drive counterparts, as a budget alternative. I myself own Sonic 2 and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for it.
At least 8-bit systems wouldn't crash his computer, hopefully...
