The other day I heard that Walmart is starting to do delivery, but I think it's for bigger cities - for now.
Doesn't Amazon have a grocery delivery thing too? But again, I think it's still very limited.

Yeah, they're trialing it right now in some big cities. It'll be interesting to see if it catches on. I know it's super common in parts of Europe, but the culture is different there and people tend to interact differently there. I read about a big concern with these companies offering the delivery services is that people don't trust one another and would rather shop themselves to make sure they're not getting short changed by the store. This fear does not exist as strongly in countries where grocery delivery is common and the companies are trying to figure out why and remedy that.

Regardless, I doubt Amber would want to pay the delivery fee to have her groceries dropped off when she can just have ol' Becks run out to WalMart daily. I think the only reason we don't see her gorging on double meat pizzas every day is because there's a significant cost (relative to the cost of the pizza) to ordering pizza delivery.

Anyways, can you imagine WalMart delivering groceries to her house? A pallet of Lay's chips, a pallet of pudding cups, a pallet of ice cream, and a single bunch of spinnage. Weekly. #GOALS

From an European point of view, it’s more common to deliver groceries to someones home only if they are old or in someway (physically or mentally) disabled. Being mega fat doesn’t count but on the other hand, we don’t have as many super obese people here.

The irony in all of it is you don't see too many deathfats like Amberlynn in larger cities. Amberlynn really is amongst her people in Kentucky small towns. Where they don't deliver groceries. You need your mobility to survive in a larger city unless you have an enabler who can also pay your bills; her "job" wouldn't even pay for a small one bed + utilities in a safe part of town.

in the future we will see becky holding the camera for amber because she is too fat too hold it herself.

gorl needs to see that she is basically a number that people try to deadlift with in competitions and sometimes come out of it with horrendous back injuries.
i feel for the people who have to haul her out her house at some point

Wanna know what's in Amberlynn's armpits? [SPOILER="Yes said:
Skin tags. Lots and lots of skin tags.

Just a guess though. But I think we can all agree something eldritch is growing in those pits.
[/SPOILER]

You are exactly right...skin tags are a sign of excess insulin. She definitely has tons of insulin trying to clear the sugar from her blood.

She isn't the type who'd get excited about going to the gym.

Even her fake enthusiasm about the elliptical is sad. I see it's purpose for cross-training on high resistance for the athletic sort, but for an otherwise sedentary person using it on low resistance as a slow, waddling pace, wouldn't it be useless? Honestly, going to the gym for Amberlynn is a tricky thing. I don't think gym cardio equipment would be a wise choice for her, even if it could handle her weight. She is better off walking at a slow pace until her heart can actual handle something more strenuous. :optimistic: I know.

If she liked drugs, she'd be a drug addict. Her dopamine fix just happens to be tickled by food.

This is why she will never change while she is in the company of an enabler such as Necky. AL needs to be in a treatment facility of some sort for a long period of time. I don't know how much that sort of thing would run in the US, but I don't think anything else could work. Her addiction to food is pretty complicated and deeply ingrained in her at this point. Where plenty of people have just forced themselves to make and stick to changes, I just don't think AL has the ability to do so. I'm curious if the parts of her brain associated with delaying gratification/reward system (nucleus accumbens if I still remember my intro psych) is even properly developed.

Her best bet would be water aerobics. It's easy on the joints and would be less of an injury risk, also no equipment to break. Will she do it? Fuck no.

My honours project in psychology is about the effects of sugar consumption on self-control. Past research (in rats) suggests that sugar consumptions worsens self control (rather than bad self control leading to sugar consumption). My experiment is whether binge eating sugar in particular has a negative effect on self control. Soon we will see.
Get the fuck out nerd.
