Stupid thing that have been deemed "problematic" - current year is problematic

These joyless fuckers really need to learn how to separate the artist from their work and just enjoy things in their merits alone.

That is infuriating to me. Hitch was a bit skeevy, a flirt with great taste and bad breath but he was no Weinstein. Do they also forget that Hitch's wife Alma Reville was so inherent and integral to his work ? For the times they were a progressive couple.

Yeah Hitchcock did step a bit too far when he hit in tipi hendren on the set of the birds but he understood no means no and backed off when she told him to. Then he locked her in a cage and had birds attack her supposedly as payback but hey if it's true it's tame compared to what other directors have done to starlets who won't play ball.

Anyway back on topic air conditioning in office buildings being deemed "sexist " because they make women wear heavy clothes in summer or some shit like that. It's industrial strength hvac for a skyscraper in summer it needs to be a little op.

Teenage boys sexualizing the women around them.

I had to read a book for a class that followed teenagers as they were coming to grips with their sexual feelings for women. You and I both know that teenage boys are horny little bastards but that's how puberty affects them. Of course they're going to want to fuck every hot woman they meet. But the class (which I should point out was like 95% women) analyzed their behavior as "toxic" and that they showed that they didn't respect women.

If they were talking about grown men then they might have had a point, but for God's sake, teenage boys are just discovering themselves and their feelings. They haven't matured to the point where they realize they shouldn't objectify women. The whole thing came off as criticizing teenage boys for the simple act of going through puberty.

Dave Chappelle's last stand-up special. I freaking loved it, but the usual suspects deemed it "problematic".

It's the best stand-up special I've seen in years, and it reminded me of my favourite stand-up special of all time - Eddie Murphy's "Delirious". Maybe I'm problematic because I still LMAO at the notion of Mr. T being queer some 30 years after first having that thought placed in my head.

You see, the single class I had in college that was ruined by a painfully woke teacher was an overview of mesoamerican art. Which would be a great class if she wasn't a terrible fucking teacher. But that's besides the point. There was a painting she showed us which for the life of me I can't find in any of my textbooks so just pretend it's this one:

Native king dude standing there looking regal with a city in the background. She asked the class, in her unsettlingly soft and high-pitched voice, what might be problematic about this image. We responded as we usually did to her questions, in total apathetic silence. She finally gave up waiting and explained that it's becasue the king is only standing in front of the city and not activly performing duties as a leader and helping his people. God only knows why that's so "problematic" when that's kind of the general formula for most royal/political portraits in just about any culture you can think of.

*Edit* I should say that I don't know for sure if she meant problematic in the SJW way, but this same lady used words like "latinx", "mansplain-y", and "unpack", tried to convince us that the gender based pay gap is real, and showed us a Beyonce music video in this same class saying that it somehow related to Afro-Cuban history so I have no idea how else she could have meant the word "problematic". I kind of regret not just straight up asking her in class but she had a very lofty and confusing way of explaining things so I probably would have regretted it.

Sam Hyde. I was told by a group of online friends I used to hang out with about how absolutely horrible he is in every way and how I should never ever listen to what he has to say, this that and the other, so I went to go see how horrid he is out of curiosity and I saw this


And this pretty much helped me in recognizing just how shit these people have turned out since a lot of them started trooning out about that time. I still don't give that big a care about Hyde, but since I cut all ties with them, shit's been going nowhere else but up for me
