I'm sure some of you have heard about this recent trend of poking fun at the cartoon Steven Universe, to the point where multiple blogs have popped up with the sole purpose of criticising it. They spew out a lot of bullshit and shout racism, homophobia, fatphobia, sexism, etc. at everything the show does. A lot of the blogs have expanded into being just general critical blogs for things like other shows, games, movies, etc. which can create salt of its own.

Also, it may be best if you have an understanding of Steven Universe to get full laughs out of this nonsense.

People are just losing interest. At the height of SU drama this thread might have been interesting, but it's mostly finished now, as far as I'm aware.

Steven universe is hot bullshit at the minute. The recents arcs are gay as hell, the art style is unbelievably lazy and they've been recycling the same plots over and over since season 2. The best episode was 'Mindful Education', and it was animated by a guy who worked on Kill La Kill instead of the usual clueless muppets.
There, I just summed up every anti-SU blog.

Correct. The first season was a near masterpeice in storytelling and the writing continues to be some of the best in western animation. But sjws hijacked it and the staff, for some reason, decided to encourage that, so the anti-sjws dogpiled on that and the whole thing turned into a giant clusterfuck with this gem of a show crushed beneath its weight.

Honestly this is all fun poking fun at this tumblr balloon, it is just a cartoon but the problem with that, we have reached to the point in our animation lives or even in general at the most part. That just saying it's not just a cartoon anymore. It's gotten to the point as a whole that we see, time, money, power, ethics, passion, and many more goes into the love and care of this autistic trainwreck. If that being said, shouldn't it have better animation quality? Shouldn't it actually have a trying successful crew instead of a bunch of fuckwads simply drawing off model from obviously 4-5 feet characters to fucking Mii size characters?

For every person who's genuinely concerned about the state of animation, there's at least ten who are just salty about their ships not being canon and are scrambling to find other things to get pissed about. I would say that these people would have a better time just producing their own content, but deep down I know they don't have the skill or talent for that to happen.

And every time there's new episodes the shit starts up again. As far as I'm aware there's a new special coming out at the beginning of January and it's going to include an episode that was previewed at a convention, which had already riled up the crits. Can't wait to see the autism it'll spark.
