Suggestion and Update Thread

Honestly? This is going to take quite a while to get used to the new layout. I personally like the older one a lot better than the way this one is laid out now. Actually, I just looked and I can keep my message text even after switching pages. Maybe change the color scheme a bit so that there's a dark blue or something and I'm really optimistic about it.

That said, having a 1080p laptop monitor it's incredibly jarring when about half the screen is just completely unused and left plain white. For me that makes it a lot more like the old mobile layout. Maybe there's something you can do to fix it so that I'm not left with half empty white on the pages because it looks really weird as-is for me.
 
The new mobile site is fancy, I like seeing avatars now on my phone. I think I'll get used to it.
 
Woke up this morning to find the board entirely different. There's a lot more changed than I think.

Oh well, its all about updated technology further and further, so I get it.

User posted links now have target="_blank" on them so I'm a happy camper.
 
welp, at least quick reply has options, now if only I could change the backgrounds blue or have a seperate page for mchat.
 
I think chat could be streamlined a bit. Like getting rid of posts that say " 'X User' replied to 'Xthread' ' and so forth.

Hit Ctrl and the + key a few times and watch all that white get gutted like 14BC after a three am cup of brewed coffee powered by an extension cord. Then cut me a deal on a QP as your way of saying 'thanks'.

What should the avatar dimensions be confined to now for the new board software so I can align mine properly or can that be reworked by the moderators so that a new avatar won't be needed for those who now have cropping issues with their images?
 
To anyone that complains about the alert feature you can adjust it by clicking your profile and clicking alert preferences
 
Everything moved. Where's the coffee maker? Is it in the bathroom? It's in the bathroom isn't it?

So will the new functionality (and therefore, i assume, larger database) add to the chaos the next time Chris burns something down or gets arrested and a hundred rubberneckers flood the forums? Or was the linode RAM permanently upgraded as well?

The new forum seems pretty sweet though.
