Suggestion and Update Thread

Please, no. It's already annoying enough how much power the first person to react and first follower have over how a risk-taking post gets interpreted and received by subsequent readers, without making it even more comfortable and convenient to just follow their lead.
that's a good point, didn't think about that. appreciate you pointing it out, cause i realized how much engagement matters on social where the top comments are completely correlated with first responders.

Can we get a thread view that just shows post highlights and hides ones that aren't
Add a feature to search for user posts solely by ones highlighted.

Add a tag to the :politisperg: Emoji so I can just type in “Easter Island Head” as is my first inclination rather than “Politisperging” which requires conscious thought to parse.

@Null can we get a table of contents feature? People put a lot of effort into threads and this kind of feature would really help a lot with the longer and more complex threads.

Would help to increase readability and work really well for the higher quality posts - often the longer and more complex ones are impossible to navigate/read easily.

On Notion and Word and some other programs it automatically uses lines written in heading format for the table of contents so maybe that could be how it works?

edit: something like this would really help so much with bigger and more complex threads:

Very separate suggestion so doing the rare & elusive triple post.

Can we get some sort of a gallery feature? The logic being that we add images and add a description/title/tags to it and then once the thread is fully constructed we can embed/add the media as needed to the post - the extra images and such would be a "gallery" of sorts for viewers to check out.

An example is this thread I'm writing about "techdom" and I'm constructing it by pasting in images but I don't want to end up with a thread that is just 500 different images - it'd be great to put a title/description for each image and then at the end make a final and more limited selection of images that are thread worthy and if "viewers" want to check out other images they can do so easily: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/techdo...ng-the-internet-for-bdsm.233971/post-23100024

I think this feature would be particularly useful for complex and extensive OPs and help to simplify things - maybe instead of putting in 10 different images showing the same Discord server they could just embed a small gallery of thumbnails related to that subject and a user could click it to explore the images more?

There's two things I'd like for watched threads:
1. Have an option to always show unread watched threads at the top (maybe this is already a thing somewhere but I'm retarded?)
2. Have a way to group watched threads into categories. For example: shitposting threads, lolcow threads, interesting IT threads, etc. Basically, be able to add a group-label to a watched thread, then when viewing them, have them categorized by those labels.

With the recent rework of the on topic board layout the top navigation map looks kinda retarded. Maybe change the entire section name to ‘on topic’?

I noticed this line in the rather active Easy to Track Username Hall of Shame:

he must run it first through an EXIF data stripper
I am confused by this, because I seem to remember that Kiwi Farms already did this automatically. If I hallucinated that, consider it a suggestion? Perhaps a button similar to thumbnailing to make it optional?

People who hide their profile shouldn't be able to see anyone's.

You know how on Steam's store page the "Featured and Recommended" section has arrows on the sides and pips at the bottom so you can go through the various listings there?

I think the sponsored posts banner would benefit from a similar system. It could still randomize which one it shows first on every reload, but it would be nice to scroll through the other sponsored posts without having to keep refreshing to see different ones.

Here's a mock-up I made of how I could see it being implemented in an elegant and unobtrusive way.

It would be great if website retardation didn't impact users already on the website.

I've had several posts that took time to compose get partially or fully erased due to some Pajeet-inspired random timeout theory that hits my browser despite using the same browser on the same network most times I visit the website.

This one of the few forums I peruse with this quirk and I'm not sure how solving a cryptographical challenge will ebb my activity when I'm already actively using the website at a normal visitor pace.

Copy effortposts in progress so you can paste them back if you need to. Never trust the shitty XenForo post editor. Also Null is NEVER going to fix that bullshit because he'd just be helping the XenForo scum who revoked his license for no reason at all.
