Just going ahead and changing the name to something lolcow related would be a nice step. Just rip the Band-Aid off and try to stop the whole people-whining-about-lolcows-other-than-Chris-getting-attention thing once and for all. It's beyond old.

The biggest problem with following other LOLcows in-depth is that there are either already communities dedicated to them (I heard about Jace a loooong time before the cwcki forum page was made, from a community that followed him), or they aren't really important enough/do enough to warrant a following yet (everyone who isn't jace).

It's just going to attract more le ebic trole weens that want to copy Clyde Cash/other cwc trolls, but with jace or someone else.

It bothers me how nobody ever seems excited for new stuff. Nobody ever suggestions a direction we can go in. It's always an obstructionist stance against every new idea

But the direction we seem to be moving in is neo-ED. That's what I really have a problem with. I like ED but if I wanted to read about random lolcows who do maybe one funny thing a month I'd go there.

I mean if your vision is "expand cwcki forums into a lolcow general with a focus on CWC" then I don't think I'd be against it. But really only Jace really deserves his own section. The other two aren't exactly popular or really noteworthy. I'd personally replace then with a sjw section and maybe a lolcow fandom. Hell, the sjw thread alone has more posts than some of these sections.

I really don't understand this argument. The only place on the site where information on other lolcows can be forced on you is Chat. If you're not in there, you pick and choose which threads you read at will.

I'm in favor of more expansion. Give as many lolcows their own sections as can be supported, and if they die out they die out.

As far as the site turning into something like ED goes, that's a good thing. There's never been a site like ED that was built around information rather than shitty, juvenile humor. This place could easily become ED, but with some semblance of standards.

As long as ween shit is nipped in the bud and not allowed to ingrain itself into the community, grow the fucker as fast as possible. Worst-case scenario is you end up with an annoying number of dead threads, at which point you can just nuke a bunch of them.

Moleman is about to be archived because his forum has gotten less posts this month than the moderation board, which is pathetic. My only problem with archiving Moleman is that he appears to be sperging on the Wikia and if there's still activity like that it could provoke a resurgence.

TGK is popular. I don't understand it, but he is.

"neo-ED" is a bad way of putting it. I'd say KYM meets ED, or "ED but not shit". ED focuses on drama for the sake of it, I'd like to focus on drama that's entertaining and not just shitflinging..

I was in the middle of writing a little bit of a ceding of ideals (I'm worn out from the gym, I might not be thinking very straight) but then I saw how you think mixing KYM with anything is better than being neo-ED. How you think KYM is in any way more respectable than ED is staggering.

A "know-your-lolcow" would be just as autistic as CWC, if not more. At that point I'd prefer this to just turn in to ED. Endless piping about shit no one cares about is better than detailed analysis of lolcows and their le epic maims.

My original argument wasn't exactly worded right. Athough I feel like the primary focus should always 100% be on CWC and no one else, actually popular lolcow people and fandoms can reasonably be expected to have temporary section as they grow in popularity, and killed off when they're out of the public eye.

Basically, I would just really advise against going in the direction of "this is the lolcow general hub" and maybe more of a "this is the hub for current lolcows that are active, but with a huge focus on Chris". I didn't think you meant our new direction as a general lolcow hub until you actually mentioned KYM in a positive light.

I don't browse KYM and I don't know what it's community is like. All I know is that when I read their articles they are to the point and tell me what I need to know.

Take this community, make it bigger, have it not suck. That's my goal in a nutshell. Anything else is superfluous.

I'm just really surprised that someone who is so prominent on a site based around a community that consists of mostly people from 4-cent-garbage reads KYM occasionally and doesn't have any form of hatred for it.

And I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt and believing that you don't talk to reddit-tier people that spout le ebic maims on the regular. I'm really hoping you just heard about something like "gamergate", typed it in, and saw KYM.

I don't, but I don't see why it matters. Who gives a shit what websites I go to? Does it really affect your opinion of me that I would ever visit this particular drop of shit in the Internet? If so, is your opinion really worth considering? I'm really sorry that I've lost Internet cool points with you, but seriously, get over yourself and your cliques.
