I have a bunch of my development software on my SSDs, Substance and Unreal are awful running on a HDD and I need to have multiple version of Unreal installed because I have to do support for my marketplace assets, even with minimum install its still reaching 200gb. I could fit games on them, but they would just take up more space than I'm comfortable with. My board only has 2 NVMe slots, and my GPU makes it hell to swap them since it covers one slot and the clamps are in the worst place. I'm also full up on hard drives in my case. I have a SATA that I install smaller games to, but I try to avoid filling up my SSDs in general. Perhaps I'm just autistic about my storage usage.

At this point you really should just build a dedicated storage machine for all the shit you don't need to actively use.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is looking dope though. It's just literally more of the same, but with better graphics and Pawn AI and environmental physics. Literally all anyone wanted there. Itsuno and Takumi continue to be two of the only sane people left at Crapcom.

What fucking reason would I have to buy gender-swapped Mega Man?? Seriously! I could just pirate the older games (or learn how to mod them if I wanted a roguelite mode/level editor)

Hey now, give 30XX some slack. I've put a lot of time into 20XX and a little into 30XX. Despite it being in early access for a while, it's definitely a complete game. The soundtrack slaps and the controls are super tight. In terms of games that are Mega Man-ish, they're pretty good.

20XX is more "procedural" than 30XX, which has modes for both procedural and pre-set stage based like a conventional Mega Man boss setup. Like I said, both games have tight controls, but 30XX flows a bit better, especially with Ace, the game's Zero. He plays more like MMZ Zero in that he doesn't get animation locked as much and his attacks come out fluidly.

I trust the quality of these games more than I would Mega Man X9, especially since Kazuhiro Tsuchiya left Capcom recently.

same damn thing, just without the name and prestige that denotes the only reason you'd ever buy into it
whatever redeeming qualities this game could have are drowned out by its refusal to be even a little bit original in execution and especially concept

Since hardware has been cheap I turned my previous machine into a ghetto NAS, wish I had done it sooner. Now I have nearly a petabyte of storage. 80% of it is pirated games.
