Did you know some people call them “the forgotten bear” because so little is known about them?
Their tongues are 8-12 inches long.
It’s estimated that there are less than 10 thousand sun bears left in the wild.
Sun bears are also the smallest bears in the world, only standing 4-5 feet on their hind legs.
Sun bears have the longest tongue of any bears.
