I turned the first one into a full track by generating a bit more and spending a few minutes crossfading the clips together in FL. This shit is unreal. Perhaps my only complaint about their web UI is the general lack of features. No ability to blend clips in the UI, no downloading raw .wav or lossless FLAC, only shitty 128kbps MP3s (terrible for production purposes, but it's kind of understandable, given that they don't want their users to make their file servers shit themselves).

Those would be useful features, especially higher quality files. It's like how elevenlabs TTS only produces mono audio instead of stereo. Apparently, the V3 doesn't have the time limit so that could potentially save a lot of trouble stitching tracks together.

Alright, I did a bit of experimenting with V3. I would say to wait a bit before using it. It's in the alpha and very unstable. It generated the first part of this song I made fine, but struggled to continue it, so I switched back to V2. I'd personally wait until they iron it out a bit more since it's very new. Regardless, I proudly present my latest suno.ai song:

Another thing that would be nice would be the ability to split everything into discrete stems instead of having everything downmixed into a single track and having to use, for instance, a vocal remover/stem extraction (like splitter.ai), which is never ideal. This thing generates surprisingly catchy melodies that would be fun to split off, transcribe into scores, re-instrumentalize, mix together, and so on, but that would depend on if their model even uses split layers to begin with, or if they did a machine learning model of all instrument layers together, perhaps with a separate model for vocals. I would love to know more about how Suno's model actually works, but they seem pretty tight-lipped about it.

Also, the phrasing is all over the place. It likes having lyrics with a pretty tight meter, but a lot of singers stretch and condense words in all sorts of ways to get them to fit in a bar of music. It would be nice if it had a way to more directly control which lyrics are sustained and which ones are run together, and to get it to cough up with more consistent choruses, even with variations.

Is there a way to get specific make or female vocals? Working on a project and require it specifically to be a male black guys voice, do I just need to get lucky with spam?

As of now, no. That would be a good feature. You have to get lucky with the generation and then from there, you can use the "Continue From This Song" option to make expansions based on your prefered generation.
