Super Smash Bros.

Does anyone think any Katamari Damacy representation is possible?

Personally I think The Prince could have a chance as a fighter tbh.

To be fair most of Ness' PSI moves in Smash are actually Paula's, and his Final Smash is a move exclusive to Poo.
Yeah but he still at least had PSI Flash. I dunno, it's one thing to give Ness someone else's abilities, it's another when the character had no offensive PSI to begin with.

PSI flash isn't really an offensive move in Earthbound though. It inflicts random status on enemies and can maybe just instakill them in the more advanced versions. PSI Rockin' would've made much more sense (especially for his Final Smash).

How do you think rockin' would have functioned in smash?

Yeah but he was adapted to be a fighting game character. That’s not what smash is about.
Mega man was also in MVC. In that game he was made to play more like a traditional fighter. Meanwhile in smash, he plays exactly like he did in the 2d platformers.
Smash characters have a certain mechanic or element that gives them a unique identity that is an accurate representation of their games.
TLDR PHEONIX WRIGHT SUCKS DOO DOO
TBF, he got much more of a character-based fighting style than most. You had to gather evidence in 'Investigation Mode', then in 'Courtroom Mode' you used your evidence as various attacks, and if you got the Objection in, you'd enter 'Turnabout Mode' and become one of the most powerful characters.

Porting that would fit Smash with about the same result as fitting a giant cork in the barrel of a tank, though.
